Once he got the red the attacking aguero was in order to "take one of them with me"

None of the city players are as thick as him though and didn't bite.

Crazy fool!! I wouldn't put my elbow anywhere near Tevez's jaw!!

Given City's forgiving nature towards players with disruptive influences (Balotelli, Tevez) they'll probably be lining Joey up for next season!

3 match ban for every sending off that could be classed as 3 sendings off, 2nd sending off of the season for the elbow so the maths works out as such.
    Elbow Tevez 4 matches
    Punch on Aguero 5 matches
    But on Kompany 6 matches.

That is potentially a 15 match ban.

That's coming close to Tevez's self imposed ban!

An elbow, a kick and a head butt... Joey must been provoked severely to do that.

No one in the right mind would do that because he's merely agitated.

I forgot about some of shearers dirty actions... I guess everyone is a hypocrite to a certain extent.

Where Barton's a real nob is that he has prior form though, so he's always going to be a target for this sort of thing. And basically, while he tries to justify some of his actions after the fact, he's really not as clever as he thinks he is. I really do understand why he elbowed Tevez - though he really should have just dived on it rather than retaliating - but the whole bullshit about trying to get 'one of them out too' is crap. Fair or not, the guy is always going to have a target painted on him for refs, so it's pointless trying it on that way. If he was as clever as he thinks he is, he'd know that.

And sure, I get that it isn't fair, because the likes of John Terry* seems to skate in comparison. But that's life Joey, and you'd know that if you were half the philosopher that you think you are.

*Not particularly picking on JT, just his little attempt at a dead leg recently springs to mind.

<laugh> twatter is officially the worst thing for Joey Barton ever. Indeed its one of the worst things in football right now. When is a club going to wake up, realise the dangers and ban their players. The sooner the better before something silly happens. I honestly despise it with a passion. Nevermind bringing fans closer to the players, this ****e is just deepening the divide.

His comments on Shearer are like a young child stamping his feet. Only a fool and simpleton would feel the need to drag up old **** like that. You just look weak. Shearer has a job to do. What do Barton and certain other mongs think Shearer is going to do, say "well done" or make no comment because he was a naughty boy 10 years ago? Its just not relelvant.

If I was a QPR fan I'd be fuming at the sending off and cringing at those comments. He even Tweeted "What's the problem, we stayed up" (or something along those line)
Yes Barton you did but not with your help and by the fact the Ref at the Bolton match was useless and gave a goal that should never have been and an iffy pen. Very fine line

Mark Hughes will get rid of Barton. Such a talent but a tool at the same time.

Ref Barton, I was at Golf day at Slayley Hall 2 years ago when Barton and his cronies were there, Nolan, Carrol Smith etc. Sitting behind them after the game in the bar we heard Barton saying that they should all go on strike before the first game of the season over some contact issue with one of the gang. he was the ringleader, the bully in charge so to speak. He is and was an absolute disgrace on and off the golf course. Thought he owned the place. I am not that religous but if there is a GOD he will strike him down with a carrer ending injury and he will have to fall back on his natural talents, attacking innocent people on nights out and slopping out the cells!! Shame no one gang-Raped him in prison!! I bet he cried his ****in eyes out in prison, the soft get. Thank God Mike Ashley and Pardew saw through all that smokescreen he put out. He is a disgrace!!

How so? Because Shearer has one black mark on his career he's not allowed to comment on the continuing stupidity of Joey Barton? He's talking ****e. He has 'a better hair'? Is that Nietzsche or Carl Jung?

It probably hasn't occurred to him that in the last 5-8 years he's only managed probably one good season. He's 29 and he's just pissing it all away to spend his time on some ****ty social networking site. I've defended him loads but he just seems to be spiralling since he made that move. The whole rejection by Ashley has had a profound effect on him. Ever since it started he's just had too much to say for himself and forgot what he is paid to do.

This is it for me. You'd almost put up with him being a complete prick if he could actually do it on the field, but he hasn't done so consistently since he was at City 5 or 6 years ago. That isn't the type of player you allow to destroy your team spirit, Carlos Tevez is...
