Had to be. Both goals went in after their game finished. Convinced if Bolton won we would've held out. Would've been good though to say we did it on our own, against the odds.
No gloating here, but can you imagine how the Bolton fans feel, seeing us lose in the last 2 mins but they go down for having given away that penalty?
In the end, I am elated that we are staying up but gutted that we gave up two in injury time (not that I especially wanted United to winthe championship)
I couldnt give a **** how they feel. Sir Chris foy helped us out yet again but weve been hard done by in so many games that Im not going to feel sorry for them, especially when they got 3 unearned points off us.
The Goons spiked our guns before the season began. Credit to TF and Amit for bringing Sparky in. We can build now over the summer, and THIS TIME, we'll be ready at the start of the Premiership season and can hit the ground running...
Delighted we have stayed up but just disappointed we didnt get a point as i thought we would. Not sure how the players are feeling right this moment. Hope we can keep most of the squad together and Mark Hughes remains as manager. He has done what he was brought in to do and keep us up . I do like Cisse when hes not sent off and hope he is our talisman next year. Come on you Rs
The point I'm making, all gloating or sympathy aside, is that but for the penalty they conceded, the end of the City/QPR match could have been stuff dreams are made of for them. They blew it, and sick as parrots comes to mind
Wow! We've done it. It's over and we are still premier league. Exhausting, emotional stuff. We survived the run in from hell. We don't have to go to Barnsley or Cardiff, we don't have to try and bounce back. We're still here. We can build, move forward and try to fulfill the hopes and expectations of the owners. We'll still be on motd! My tape story has proved correct - I believe.
But i think our players knew we were safe as the Stoke game had ended, i think we would have held on if Bolton had won.
WOW. That was the most emotionally draining 90 minutes I've experienced There were tears in my eyes when I heard the Stoke result
And your premonition about both teams celebrating today woody! Well done. can't believe we lost and I'm so happy
