In 20 years of the Premier League our own has won best save.

Best save I've ever seen live no doubt.

I have to agree, it was an incredible save, Westwood's at Old Trafford isn't far behind like imo

I hope that Gordon will want to take on another short term contract with us, and try to push for a place in our 1st team.

If he leaves us this summer, we will have lost a GK with the potential to become one of the best. And sods law would probably have it so that next season he'll make several crucial saves against us and we'll lose the game against the team he is playing for --> cos I am pretty sure another Premier league team would snap him up on a free.

Think Arsene Wenger is a fan. Spurs also looking for a back up/long term replacement for Friedal.

That save was one of the best I have ever seen and I voted for it, not just because it was a Sunderland player. I too hope he is offered a reasonable deal and wants to stay. If he is over his injury problems and goes elsewhere I agree is bound to come back to haunt us.

Hope he stays, hopefully for less money as we have paid him and looked after him for years, i think he owes us something back and he will injury free be a top top goalkeeper.

There is no debate imo if Gordon is fit he is the best keeper at the club but if he isnt he is the most expensive treatment room player we have had for many a year.

If he is fit he simply has to be offered the number one jersey again, as imo he is streets ahead of both Mig and Westwood.

I too hope he stays as he is a perfect age now for a keeper and as stated, he owes us a little bit of loyalty for the way we have stuck by him these past 3 years of injuries.

It was a quality save. I really want Gordon to stay. I know if he goes we will see him turning in great performances for a top club if they get him on a free. It was just such a shame about his injurys as he was showing what a quality keeper he was and had an excellent run of form before he got crocked

Well he should find a club after this, if we let him go that is, still time left.

What cest said. Hope he remembers the loyalty when the offers start coming in.

Mind you, he's kept our backroom physio boys on their toes :)

Could be the best keeper in the premiership when fit.

    We MUST keep him.
