Vincent Tan is probably flexing his muscles , he knows that if he walks Cardiff are in big trouble, and he knows you know that as well, i bet the offer will be back on the table shortly, by the language they are using "other investors" they know that will strike fear through the fan base at the club, he knows he is the only show in town at the moment and will use that to push through the planned changes at the club.
i dont know what 2 believe anymore so im not gonna pass judgement.......what will be will be,but if we do have 2 fight for this club, then i hope we all end up pulling in the right direction for the good of our club once and for all how are we losing so much money each month with some of the biggest crowds weve had since the eighties...............its a gravy train lads but the fans cant get the money spinning ticket
ITIWRAN For the sake of the club and its future, a compromise is needed and cool heads on both sides of the argument, but as fans of Cardiff City you are the lifeblood of your club, and nobody in Wales wants to see Cardiff back in the doldrums, a strong Cardiff City and Swansea City means welsh football is stronger good luck
Not a fan of Tucker but this sums it up. steve tucker‏@steveatucker If #cardiffcity fans wanted tradition they got it. Blue shirts, badge, player exodus, loans, frees, transfer embargoes. Just like old times.
not a bad quote there DJ aber, i'm also at a loss () to explain where this £1m loss a month is coming from. thats £12m a year... in my opinion clubs should be run without the need to rely on an owner having to constantly pay off these £1m's. Income should be equal or greater to expenditure, wages no more than 50% of turnover. yet we run at at least 80-85% i believe. completely and utterly unsustainable. yet we average 20-21k in a season. we havnt spent a great deal on players at all, no big names really just honest players. very basic business rules go out of the window with football!
The problem goes back to the Premier League forming and TV deals. Quite rightly when this happened the players wanted their fair slice of the action. I've no problem with that as without the players you don't have a team. However with the colapse of Setanta and Championship TV deals the clubs obviously have less money coming in. However, players and even more so the agents have not taken their fair share of this loss of revenue, in fact their wages have continued to increase. All of this has exacerbated the problem. Its is all starting to come to a head though with the Financial Fair Play Regs. We could start seeing alot more of players heading abroad to play football.
any more boring, WUM comments will be deleted / moved to banter thread, i'm sure you're all getting as bored of them as i am!
I got bored of him about 3 yrs ago Swamp, Dont believe i have ever seen a worthwhile post from him he just regurgitates the same old bile.

Keep calm things will work out ok, and you will then be on the road to the promised land, emotions are a little high at the minute but will settle MysticMabon has spoken
Loads of questions and ifs buts and maybes. To much knee jerk reaction all around. Agree its amazing we lose £1m a month with the crowds and other add ons, see more Cardiff shirts these days than I can ever remember. I didnt want to change colours or badges. I also find it quite repulsive that we can have £100m if we do as we are told. Shocked that the 'I'm taking my ball home if you wont play by my rules' mentality has kicked in. Not sure if I understand that a red kit is worth £100m more than a blue kit in any country. Hurts seeing Blackpool and West Ham getting ready for the playoff, though not entirely undeserved. Overall, as usual, disappointed with the end of season. Cant wait for the next one!
I am livid. What arrogance that the Cardiff City Supporters' Trust and Cardiff City Supporters' Club can assume to speak for all of us. And who gives a **** what some ****ing politician thinks? Rage!!! Also, how do I ignore posts from that prick Cracker? Edit: Okay I've worked out how to get rid of the swear filter (****ing awesome!), but I still haven't found the ignore feature. Edit 2: Job done!
