oh wise sages of the north hear my plea!!

Hello you might not know this but I consider myself as a 'new' Newcastle fan ever since the 09/10 relegation battle i have been fixated on Newcastle's dealings from the weekly Friday takeover announcements until today. But being born and bread in Luton town I have never been further north then Milton Keynes and never stepped foot in Newcastle itself which is weird right? but I must admit hearing your stories about the clubs heyday and reading books like Bobby Robson and shearer's autobiography I'm learning now about an era what you all lived in. so coming to my point is there a specified information or story about the club that I must know to further my base knowledge of this great club and remember is it not you duty to pass this information on to 'new' fans?
P.S a little funny story about my first time I came out of my Newcastle closet I went to watch a film in my Newcastle shirt when in the corner of my eye two catholic priests fully robed pointed and laughed at me, and I'm like 'what the hell u looking at?' long story short I think I'm cursed to go to hell ow well anyone fancy a ride there?

There's loads of cd's that are well worth a watch, they play them on the coaches going to the away games, I've been surprised myself at some of the ones they've got. Great stuff and great memories of days gone by.
