Were the commentators on that suggesting that Lover's goal shouldn't have been allowed? Of course he was offside when Colo's ball was played but he was nowhere near the play which is what made Colo's choice and vision even better. If they are suggesting that I'm just surprised is all. It was my favourite goal in terms of the build up but thought they were all smashing team goals today and great to see four different players on the scoresheet. I thought Wolves were OK and was worried we might implode for that 10 minute spell after they scored but we stuck at it. Ebanks-Blake kept going and could have had a couple, fair play to him. Nice to break that unwelcome stat about the 3'o'clock kick off at home too. And 39 points. And a positive goal difference again. And above the Mackems (however potentially short-lived). Happy days eh? HWTL.
Wasn't that Andy Townsend criticising the goal? Twat. They were saying how are you supposed to defend against that? The simple answer is that the lazy bastards should have made an effort to get back. Barton managed to run from an onside position to goalside of Lovenkrands, he had twice the distance to cover that their defence had, commitment, skill and ruthlessness made that goal, not some flukey loophole in the laws of the game. This active/inactive rule has been in place for eight years now, and still these so called experts can't get their heads around it. How are these morons still in employment?
Link, wasn't very good so couldn't tell wouldn't surprise me he's rubbish and hates us. Oh and he's a twat.
cheers for the goals, i give up on the live links 20 mins into the game and stuck bbc radio newcastle on.....
Thanks Beast, I've never had rep before! Is there somewhere I can view it? Like some sort of virtual trophy cabinet? I read you all every day, multiple times, on my phone but because of firewalls on the computer at work don't get to comment that much and can't be bothered to slog out my opinions on my phone while I sit on the toilet on my five minute breaks. I hate call centres.
