Villa have confirmed that Heskey will be released at the end of the season, and some have linked him with Leeds.

Now most on here have made it clear they do not want him, yet personally I would give him a season at Leeds.

Heskey is exactly the type of physical force we have been lacking up front. He has not used his pace for years so his legs are not an issue.

He will not score that many goals but that is not his game, he is a great target man who allows players like Snodgrass to score the goals playing off him.

I always loved watching him for England as he always gave 100%, no matter how much stick he got.

I doubt many will agree, but isn't that the best bit about having an opinion.

Far more likely he'll earn megayen at Leicester to do coaching and make the odd League Cup cameo.

He's the sort of striker we need though, provided McCormack and Somma are here and ready to play next season and we're just left with Becchio in the muscle department.

If we could get Michael Owen as well it could be a classic retro England forward line, it will never happen but the two of them would rip Championship defences apart.

I really wouldn't like to see him here, you need strikers who can bang the goals in, look what happened when we had Keough as the 'support' to McCormack, he looked decent but lack of goals was clear. Maybe a different story if you have a 30 goal striker but I don't see McCormack pushing many more than 20 into the back of the net.

Who would be a manager eh :)

Not at all, and the word moron would mean I have to come down to your level of mentality !!, to be fair he holds the ball up well but we are building a team for the future not somebody who will score 7 goals and cost 20k a week, I do not believe he is worth a punt, I am happy for you that he is coming home, and also pleased he is not coming to us !!!, I hope he does the biz for you.

He won't be on 20k here.

He spent his own money making sure we didn't go bust, i'm pretty sure he would be fine with a small salary to keep him ticking over.

Leicester through and through is our Bruno.

You could also pick up Darius Vassell and appoint Sven :).

To be honest though I am sure Heskey would do ok in the Championship.
