Changed my view form the original (Mason - his time will come) and gone to Hudson who has been a model of consistency all season, a great captain, scorer of 1 amazing goal and a few other good ones.
Hudson for me by a margin. Excellent Captain, great role model, best season since he joined us, and now forming a formidable partnership and understandingh with Turner. And as previously mention, THAT goal. What is he worth now, after so many said we had been robbed when DJ paid 1.1 million for him (Allegedly)?
I'm sticking with Mason... THE find of many a season for CCFC...and will get better. I can't fault Huds for his captaincy, on and off the pitch, or his consistency with Turner and the way I feel about Whitts at the moment I wouldn't care if he was sold in the summer.
Whitts has been good again, but has been 'worked out' by a number of teams. He's still instrumental to the team though and we need some of the others to step up and take responsibility when Whitts is drawing the attention. Mason will be player of the season at some point. He's scoreda lot of important goals and has huge potential but hasn't had the influence he will have as he's been on the bench for a lot of games. Hudson has been a huge influence this season, not just in his playing, but in his leadership. For his performances, including some brave defending, his leadership and for THAT GOAL, I've given him the nod.
I have switched to Hudson, he has been solid and consistent all season where others have fallen short he has been there to pick them up. A great captain in my eyes and he has found an eye for a goal or two aswell
