possible then since I imagine that the front brakes generate a fair bit more heat than the rears. Good point.
As BLS suggests, I believe he is holding the car steady, perhaps to counter sideways pressure from the guy making the adjustment (who looks as if he's having to put some weight into it). He does not appear to be holding a screwdriver to me Genji: his left hand appears to be holding the airbox. I would not be surprised to see other teams quickly adopt a similar idea, since it is not exactly high-tech and should be relatively simple to do.
It does seem that the test was a shakedown of the parts which is maybe why Lewis and Jenson didn't go? Like I said before, because their pre season test was strong at Barcelona they will have good date to compare the new design to - it will be interesting to see if this is a step forward or they are trying to consolodate and addopt similiar design ideas from the other teams.
Pish, posh. You clearly overlooked the tool he was using. Here's a better view: please log in to view this image No, of course - you're quite right and sensible. I was just trying to throw a little doubt and dissemblance into the mix. I think I may have missed a golden opportunity to use the '' smiley, which I admit I still don't really know how to use.

I think McLaren's new nose is put out of shape. !!! Great car, shame about the support team at the races,
Its a double post but James Allen writen a story on why McLaren’s race pace doesn’t match their qualifying pace, which in summary is down to fuel, or to be exact: weight of fuel (engine efficiency) Stolen from - http://www.jamesallenonf1.com
http://www.thef1times.com/news/display/06235#page_top Just seen this on the Codemasters General discussion. Maybe this explains why Button is struggling? And maybe this will be the new controversial part on a car which may get banned.
They've had this on the car a while: http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...cedes-MP4-27?p=2734652&viewfull=1#post2734652 Neither were Red Bull and Lotus's.
It would make sense for Mclaren to be using it... except surely if its purpose is to make it easier to use the tyres that doesn't really explain why Button is struggling with it.
Still no upgrades from McLaren, Lewis thinks they will probably bring one for the British GP, but it makes you wonder what theyre actually doing back at base compared to Ferrari who have been flat out. Lewis' awkard laugh when asked about upgrades in the press conference says it all I think.
