Given that Assem and Ehab Allam read this board all the time, make your desires known (don't worry if your choice isn't chosen this time around, there'll be another poll in 6 months time!)

I'd love McCarthy to come here as manager. Other than that Davies or Lee Clark.

My choice would have been McCarthy if he had a decent record of keeping teams IN the premier league.

starting to think Billy Davies would be a good choice... got into the playoff's a couple of times in the last few years with hardly any money spent..... imagine what he could do with our already strong team and a few extra additions ?

My order would be out of those:

    1. Greg Abbott - Built a side out of nothing at Carlisle, took his time, not a huge budget, and they play good football and he has and eye for a goalscorer.

    2. Karl Robinson - Done a very good job at MK Dons, only off putting thing is his compensation which may cost a bit.

    3. Paolo DI Canio - About time we had some flair.

    4. Mick McCarthy/Davies - If we can't obtain that young manager that we are after, both would get us up.

Then Phil Brown and Lee Clark i wouldn't dislike either of the two, just Lee Clark i don't know enough of, i didn't champion him before but i have read contradictory reports before.

    1. Mick McCarthy - good record of getting teams promoted (Sunderland, Wolves) or at least to play-offs (Millwall)
    2. Billy Davies - good record of getting teams to play offs (Forest,) + got Derby promoted
    3. Greg abbot - I'm liking the sound of what he's done at Carlisle
    4. Anyone whose name is not Lee Clark or Gary Megson!

I'm going OGS, and that's based on the Man U connection for stability. Plus from having watched the Man U reserves when he was manager they were playing 442 rather than the 451/433 hybrid thing Man U seem to play most often these days, which suggests the style of play was his own rather than being one implemented from the top down to have all the players playing the same way as the first team.

Would prefer Mad Mick, but think it will be Billy Davies due to his connection with the club.

I've said it before & I'll say it again. First choice is Bruce, 2nd Joyce! I like Abbott & keep an eye on Carlisle because of him, but I think if he came here, he wouldn't last as I feel the Allams don't have the patience! Which for me & any manager coming in, is a big worry! Although the manager would probably have something in his contract, unlike me who would just be gutted!

Would like to see Di Cannio at the K.C but i suspect it will be either Davies or Mack for their experience and lack of compensation fee.

McCarthy or Davies purely because they've done it in the championship. I think it's important at this stage.

Davies or McCarthy would be great and easier to get in but I've gone for Di Canio who looks like he is making a name for himself.

Would be suprised if it was Davies I think he would be too out spoken for the Allams. On the other hand because of his previous experience with Davies at Derby AP may well have been totally against the appointment which is why he was sacked. Thats a new rumour to be considered
