Exactly, I live in a predominately republican area but all I've heard from people I've spoken to about is disgust. The fact that Ireland is in the worst financial states in Europe and wouldn't even begin to consider taking on Northern Ireland (the biggest economic drain to the UK government) so how can they even believe that actions like this will bring about a United Ireland?

The title of the article is "rip" - I assumed it would be about Tash, clearly it wasn't and by the time I had read what it was about I had already decided to complain.

Surely as a moderator, you should be helping direct non-football related threads in their proper place?

I never told anybody to do anything - I posted the link for the general chat forum. Suggesting that is where such articles should be.

I can emphathise; my great great aunty (I knew both my great grandma and her as a child from my grandad on my mam's side) was PC Blakelock's adoptive mother.
I know that's a mouthful, but we are a small family, so we're pretty close.
I wasn't alive when he was murdered, but I did know & feel the impact it had on my g g aunt & great grandma.
