Listening to burnsy at 5 he seams to think it was a question he asked nicky at the watford game about transfer money not been available.Did burnsy push for an answer never heard it but sometimes burnsy just keeps pushing .Other managers that have been round a bit dont play ball eg nige pearson was good at not giving out away same as scunny manager.
Nick was making his stance clear, the fact hes been sacked for it is very questionable, but Nick knew what he was saying (obviously he didn't realise that the response would be ridiculously over the top). I think he was wanting to make the point regardless of what questions Burnsy was asking.
I was going to post the same thing. Burnsy is almost bragging that it relates to comments after Watford. Why would an experienced journalist push an inexperienced manager for an answer to a question that could get him into bother. Burnsy is anti city obviously

Barmby has been dealing with the media including the big boys of the nationals for years, if he didnt want to say something he wouldnt as he showed in plenty of interviews with burnsy were he made pearson look like a friendly reasonable chap! I reckon burnsy is anything but anti city
Dont think anyone is to blame for this mess other than the Allams. FFS, they act like children in it all. Most managers say what Nick has said at some point. So this has another agenda attached to it imo.
