Theres still 3 games left were we'll struggle to get anything. However i think we can get points out of all the rest so in my mind we're confortable now. Not safe but we can afford to relax slightly. 2 more wins will take us to 45 points which is practicaly safe. even if youre not convinced then you have to admit it looks good

 

Aston Villa v Newcastle - Draw or lose - It'll be tough without Tiote and Nolan, and possibly Enrique.
Newcastle v Man Utd - Could grab a draw - Man Utd's away form is very average so I don't know why people consider it such a given that we'll lose.
Blackpool v Newcastle - Draw or win
Liverpool v Newcastle - Lose (I hope not)
Newcastle v Birmingham - Win
Chelsea v Newcastle - Lose
Newcastle v West Brom - Win - Although this depends on how we are for points. If we're quite safe, we might not try as much.

So, I'd say we could get 10 points by the end of the season. Perhaps 8-9 if you wanted to put a pessimistic edge on things.

 

Aston Villa(A) - Considering the team we might put out(without Nolan and Tiote) then I'll be happy with a draw and that's quite a realistic result as well.
Man United(H) - Depends. If Ireland's fit, Ben Arfa included as a sub and with Tiote coming back then you never know, but IMO I don't see us winning here.
Blackpool(A) - Hopefully here most of the squad will be fit and raring to go. Potential win but it'll be quite tricky because of the style of play Blackpool play & plus they've beaten teams like Spurs at there ground so it won't be easy. Predict a draw here.
Liverpool(A) - Tough. Draw.
Birmingham(H) - Win.
Chelsea(A) - 0 points. Just can't see us winning here.
West Brom(H) - Hopefully a comfortable victory with Ben Arfa scoring a hat-trick.

Blackpool v Newcastle - Lose, we expect to win these games but always lose - Holloway will gear up his team for this!
Liverpool v Newcastle - Lose - if Carroll plays against us!

Chelsea v Newcastle - Lose (depends if Chelsea are European Champions or finalists, can't remember when this Mickey Mouse Final is!)
Newcastle v West Brom - Win

 

Well personally because of the lack of squad depth we will struggle at Villa, Liverpool and Chelsea who knows with Blackpool I would certainly be looking for some points there. At home Man U will be difficult, West Brom and Brum we should hope for points. I reckon max 7 points but we only need 3 or 4 so despite the mismanagement by Mike Ashley we should stay up **** him. Newcastle v West Brom - A very tight game, but i reckon we'll nick it 3-2.

I'd be happy with 2 wins and 1 draw, which would take us to 46 pts and probably around 10th-12th.

It was an excellent result today, one that really drops the Wolves back into the ****... I honestly think we will stay up now. Massive game today and we passed the test with flying colours.
