Former Newcastle midfielder Emre admitted the incident in which he reportedly called the ex-Spurs man a âdirty n***erâ. Zokora got his revenge today though. Before the match he pointedly refused to shake hands with Emre by tucking his arm behind his back (thus avoiding any Suarez/Evra conspiracy theories). I assume Zokora felt the two match ban was lenient. Its just got to hurt! Should have gone for the challenge of course, as that is not a great message to send out. i.e. its ok to use violence when you've been racially abused. Got no time for this kind of thing on a football pitch. Got no time for players racially abusing each other either mind!
Oh aye. I can't say I was disappointed it was Emre. Little ****er was only ever at our place for the money. The number of mysterious hamstring injuries was infuriating. Maybe they would have held up better if he wasn't nailing everything that moved and him/Pistone weren't burning the candle and heading home with 2 or 3 lasses at a time. Just jealous of course.
