I honestly think everyone played well.

Harper - 8 Couldn't have asked more. Last week was a blip which every goalie has and I've never seen him do something like that before.
Simmo - 8 Solid, my favourite player now. Best player for us last week, kep JArvis quiet today.
Collo - 10 Amazing, nothing else to be said.
Willo - 9 Won every header at the back. Brilliant
Ferguson - 8 No crazy runs but was as solid as Wor Jose at LB.
Jonas - 8 Great goal, not really a big contribution apart from that. He waves (I think)
Barton - 9 Great team player. Deserved his standing ovation.
Nolan - 9 Great first half. He is just amazing at ghosting in, can't fault that.
Guthrie - 8 Filled in Tiotes place, but was nothing special. Can't think of anyone else who could play there. Hopefully him and Ireland CMs next week.
Ameobi - 9 Holding up play was brilliant and great assist.
Lover - 10 Best performance in the Premier League from him. I don't like him as he is consistant but he was epic today.
Perch - 7 Filled in for Shane brilliantly and showed more passion that he has ever done. Impressed, despite not being that brilliant, he has taken much slack.
Ranger - 7 Not as good as usual at confusing the defence, but played well for the Barton shot.
    Saylor - 8 Great assist.

Average - Somewhere around 8 - Great result

You don't like Lov because he is consistant? Ok....
Shola would've been my MoM although Lover did have a good one. Also think Jame's Perch's instant yellow is worthy of a mention, sigh...

Overall though, good result another match which we controlled the play for most of the time but this time we were rewarded with goals!

Harper 7 - nowt much to do, distribution a bit better than usual
    Simpson 7
Ferguson 7 - looked bright, would have been on course for an 8 but not on long enough to contribute
Willo 6 - some good headers but positioning is still highly suspect and distribution is cr*p
Collo 8 - third goal was all about him, generally consistent although caught out of position once or twice
Barton 8 - looked bright, delivery for set pieces was good today
Guthrie 7 - when about his job minimal fuss
Jonas 8 - best game for a while, final ball lack ing but took his goal well
Nolan 8 - captain marvel as usual
Shola 8 - held the ball up well, took his goal well and nice assist. Nearly got a 10 merely for wiping Karl Henry out in the first ten mins
Lover 7 - brighter than usual, but i think that was down to the sheer dreadfulness of Wolves' defence

difficult to pick out a MOM for me

So out of Ameobi and Lovenkrands who would you keep then - Give me Lover anytime! I daresay with Shola scoring today it will mean another two year contract "sigh"!

Definitely Loverman. Although I'll get rid of both if possible.

Ameobi, more to offer then loven I feel. Lovenkrands first good game of the year from what I can remember.

Same as Sanchino though, would get rid of both.

Keep Shola, dump Loverkrands. Shola has played well half the matches he has played this season whereas this is the first match I remember Lover playing well. Stats dont lie, check out Shola's assists and goals vs Loverkrands and then try and tell me otherwise. Some people's blind disliking of Shola is unbelievable, it almost tops RIP's fixation against Jonas.

ps. not saying Id want Shola as regular starter but hes a good squad player

Harper 7, not much to do.
Simpson 7, decent game but still backs off too much.
Williamson 5, awful defending, wasnt lower because he was alright in the air.
Coloccini 9, awesome game, won almost everything and was fantastic going forward.
Ferguson 8, didnt do as much going forward but was very good defensively
Barton 7, was fantastic at times but passing was sloppy at times.
Guthrie 7, solid performance, did what was expected but didnt contribute much going forward
Nolan 8, composed finish, passing was simple but neat and got stuck in.
Gutierrez 6, great finish but everything else was disappointing.
Ameobi 9, assist and a goal, and looked dangerous throught the game.
Lovenkrands 8, as much as it pains me to say it did very well, assist and a goal, about time though really?

I think we've been so used to Barton playing brilliantly every week that when he plays less than brilliant it shows more and we take it as a bad day for him.

He wasn't as good as he has been lately but he still had a good game. He covered a lot of ground and made plenty of pushes forward and took men with him ceating more room for others.

Just coming on MOTD now, worth a second look!

Colo - 8 Was 7 till I saw the meg
Willo - 7 nothing great but strong
    Barton - 8
Nolan - 7 Would have been 8 but due to illness ran out of fitness
Guthrie - 6 solid in Cheicks absense
Gutierrez- 8 Scored with his RIGHT FOOT and some great touches
    Ameobi - 8 Decent goal
Lover - 8 Good goal unlucky with the one that hit off the post

Perch - 5 everytime he gets the ball I panic

    Harper - 7/10 - Solid
Simpson - 6/10 - Played OK but backed off too much AGAIN for their goal.
Collo - 8/10 - Brilliant play for goal no. 3. Very calm at the back as well.
Williamson - 7/10 - Won most of his headers.
Ferguson - 7/10 - Didn't get forward much but made no mistakes.
Barton - 7/10 - As influencial as ever but missed a sitter.
    Nolan - 7/10 - Good goal
Guthrie - 6/10 - Didn't do much going forward but kept the ball well.
Gutierrez - 7/10 - Fairly quiet but helped Fergie out a lot and scored a great goal.
Ameobi - 8/10 - Caused havoc in their defence, but I did think his goal was a foul.
Lovenkrands - 7/10 - His best performance in a while and he got a goal. Very good cross for Ameobi as well.

    Subs:

Ranger - 6/10 - Did his usual, worried defenders and missed his one chance.
Perch - 5/10 - Started awfully but did clear one off the line to be fair to him.
Taylor - Wasn't on the pitch long enough for a rating but he got a good assist.

Overall there were no bad performances and no exceptional performances, our sucess was mainly down to a good team display and poor opposition.

    Team Rating: 9/10

Thought that attempt by Lover was a bit like Ferguson's at Stoke.
