Actually Pieking, there are FOUR local derby matches next season to look forward to - don't forget we play them at their own grounds as well
If Torquay get promoted from the play-offs, Pompey could potentially be fifth in the South Coast order of merit next season, we, of course, will be the top side....
Swindon should be a good one. Also a nice trip to Somerset to play Yeovil and, if Torquay win the playoffs, there'll be a most delightful trip to the English Riviera in sunny Devon.
Some excellent away days to look forward to. Shrewsbury will be a new ground. I hope Sheff Utd will still be about, and then there's Yeovil and Swindon close to hand. Looking forward to it already.
Someone's been on the Kandahar variety of poppies, they make any hackneyed, very poor attempt at humour seem funny.
Stop being so nice & polite meowth. Call a spade a spade.................or in that nerks case, call a prat a prat
Where's sinking blue? Waiting to be recovered from the bottom of the Solent? Don't hold your breath mate. (Sorry, I forgot you don't have any breath left after drowning).
Didn't Bournemouth sell their allocation at SMS? They'll double the usual gate at Nottarf next season then.
Yes, all that wonderfully unsophisticated, 'agricultural' kick and rush football....definately for the soccer purists...NOT!....
Wow Saints Alive, interesting insight into Division 1 footballing tactics - is that how Saints played to get promoted ?
Yes, and we have just been promoted to the PREMIER LEAGUE, by playing what is recognised by pundits (including your own Steve Claridge), attacking and attractive passing football....Really Woops, you should try to keep your banter up to date....
Surely, Saints Alive, you noticed Steve Claridge winking and sniggering when he said it. "Hit and Run" football will work for you in the Premiership next season, honest, I heard Stevie Claridge talking about it as your future tactics, only the other day. Either that, or buy a younger goalkeeper, who won't injure his back every time he has to bend down to remove the ball from the back of your net - four or five times a match is quite a lot you know. Ummm, good luck ! PS. In all seriousness, I'm sure you will be fine (even with Bart Simpson in goal)
Actually there have been some good passing sides in League One when we were there - Brighton, Huddersfield, Orient but of course there are some agricultural ones too!
