Tony Pulli's comments on the game are interesting. Says they did not deserve to loose (note: only one shot on target) and had plenty of chances (I can only recall two good ones) - any way he was annoyed and clearly won't lie down against Bolton.
Mate....the feeling in the ground was amazing!! You can't blame people for running onto the pitch when you consider were as good as down on 85mins!! I know we're far from safe but you really can't blame the fans for getting so excited after a last few mins like that!!
Mate i was one of the fans on the pitch and believe me, most knew the job isn't done yet. As said already the pure emotion in the stadium was unreal and after looking 5 mins before like our dream was all over, to come back and still be in with a chance, i think it overwhelmed a lot of us. There were grown men in tears and you really had to be there to appreciate the raw emotion that was shown today by our fans. I'm so glad i'm not going to Man City next week 'cos i wouldn't want to be the one shown in tears on Sky Sports, either tears of sadness OR tears of joy.
Really pleased I missed it but just got result thrilled and lets go and win against Man City this bollocks about rolling over and the game is lost **** it believe Bet the fickle were out in force? No more time on free wifi
DT it was hell. We very, very rarely looked like scoring, Bolton were winning and then in two minutes it all turned around. I'm so glad I was there, it would have been much harder being elsewhere.
I chose to go to the uni library and print and bind my dissertation, remaining completely incommunicado for the whole afternoon! It was only when my dad rang me (I could barely hear him) saying we'd won and Bolton had conceded an equaliser all in the last minute that I could finally relax and breathe! Kudos to everyone that made the game, sounds like you supported the team brilliantly and got your just reward with an emotional climax to the game (for all the right reasons)!!
You have to be there. There is nothing in life that beats the pure unadulterated rush of victory and emotion shared by your bretheren. You have to be there.
