I know it's done, it's over and it's not time to dwell, but the goal that never was would pretty much have us safe by now. I feckin hope it doesn't turn out to be decisive. Brilliant result today. ****ing come on.

Well we are either staying up or that goal will cost us.

We should already be safe. Stoke fans want their own team to lose to send us down. Although we are clear favourites now it really does look like fate wants Hills goal to cost us.

Sorry but what cost us in that game was the crap defending for Klasnic's goal. Simple and basic defending and that game would have ended 1-1.

since when have Stoke fans wanted to send us down? Pretty sure they won't want to lose to Bolton 5-0 like they already have done this season?

I don't think that we can call this one incident as being the turning point this season

Too often the team has failed to turn-up (Blackburn away first half, Sunderland, West Brom first half), or we've cheaply gone down to 10 men

Much to do over the summer.......

The Stoke fans were pretty loud in their pleasure in possibly sending us down today. Singing in glee when Bolton went 1, then 2 up. Abuse aimed at AF and the general " Thats why you're going down" bollox.
Don't think they (the team) will want us down but i think the fans wouldn't be too upset. Anyone remember the trouble at their place a good few years back with a few of our players being attacked on the pitch ? Wasn't it Bircham ?. Think a few Stokies have got long memories.

They attacked our goalie who got booked for defending himself. Struggling to remember who, it was before Camp I think. Royce maybe?

TBH i thinks it was less a case that they wanted to send us in particular down, more a case that they found pleasure in sending a team, so hopefully they'll do the same and succeed next week!!

    It was indeed Royce

He body slammed one of the fans that had run onto the pitch to attack him

I've had a few scary away days at Stoke - but didn't have much to complain about this season <somersault>

Whatever the fans feel, the team will want to win on the day at home. Pullis has gone on record that they will do their part and play with passion and we saw that today. Also, they are not only professional but highly competitive. These guys would want to win if they were playing Ludo or snap with you.

Bolton have a big challenge on their hands but perhaps not as big as ours. Man City have drawn ONCE at the Etihad and that was to Sunderland. It is possible but not probable.

One critical difference is that Stoke need to win and we need to draw. They will be vulnerable on the break. We will have a defensive formation with Cisse or Bobby up front alone hoping for a lucky break. I would opt for Cisse due to speed / skill.

The Hill no-goal is just one of many turning points. How about the late sunderland winner at LR? Red cards? Disallowed goal? It's been that kind of season. Can't f***ing believe another point now and we'd be safe.

Stoke fans really dont like us, that and the fact that they know we are rich and will rival them in the transfer market if we stay up.

I wasn't impressed with the Stoke fans today with their racist abuse at Ferdinand.
Also sitting in an 'uncovered' seat in the School End my dad and I didn't expect to get showered in beer (well I hope it was beer!) but boy was it good giving the abuse back to them at full time.
