Should not have happened. Had the police and CPS done their job properly and not bowed to pressure from Chelsea things would have been very different.

After seeing a lump like Carroll literally walk round him to score I would hope Hodgson would leave him out due to lack of talent, never mind the rest. If he plays in the Euros expect carnage.

Me too Swords. My wife (who unfortunately supports Chelsea) and I just looked at each other. I don't understand it. Very few players singing along too. Just Lampard and Terry from what I saw. If other Brits like Bellamy don't want to I guess that is their business but Gerrard and Johnson you are a disgrace.
I heard that as well, very strange. Unless its xenophobes who boo any anthem and don't recognize their own. Of course most Chelsea fans aren't British, so it could have been them.....
Possibly for many disadvantaged people in the North the National Anthem represents all that is wrong with the UK. The political right have messed them over really badly down the decades. Italy got it right (shooting the Royals as they did in Russia is wrong), send them into exile. Those who wish to remain can renounce their titles. UK needs a new name as well.
