Wish we had the weather to have one. I could do with a proper burger. The question is though, what do you people stick on your Barby ? Burgers, yes obviously, but which type ? There's Beef,Lamb,Vedgie.

Only kiddin about the vedge ! Although i do have a thing for corn in the cob, with a bit of chille sauce on it. So what is it ? Chicken wings, Fish,What ? Oh and don't get me started on sausages !

I use two bbqs, one gas with a griddle plate and cast iron bars. The other is a charcoal smoker.
Traditional burgers etc on the gas. Chicken cooked with Whiskey barrel smoke chips is great in the smoker. As is rack of ribs with home made seasoning. Our family BBQ has to have two things. Matheson smoked sausage and flat cap mushrooms served with the juice still in.

You can buy whiskey soaked charcoal from sainsburys.

I'm a fan of a good burger on a decent bread bun or ciabatta. Nice BBQ pork steaks, kebabs, corn on the cob.

    I don't have a garden.

I bought some Duffen burgers, but they were over priced, tasteless and lacked substance.

The Bullard ones are full of substances, but very bad taste.

I usually hate BBQs the grub is usually incinerated and taseteless. Then we always argue.

My mate is having his house warming do and he wants a BBQ to mark the occassion, weather permitting. Think getting pissed up all day will make the day go a bit faster.

Beef burgers with onion in, cooked with a slice of cheese (cheddar usually) on top for the last few minutes so it melts nicely.

Chicken breast pieces, either covered in paprika/garlic/chilli or I have them soaking in a bag in the fridge overnight in some sort of marinade (soy sauce, chilli, garlic etc).

Merguez sausages (spicey beef and lamb sausages, pefect for the Barbie!)

    Only ever use charcoal though.

Don't bother with steaks, unless they are the really really thin type as otherwise they never seem to cook that well (for me anyway).

I got some Barmby burgers, average at best, but hey, it's local produce.

What would those substances be? Some sort of HERB? Or perhaps Pepsi or even COKE? I also hear they have the odd E number in them too on occassion!

    Very nasty things!

I've seen TWF sausages in the shops.

Made from all the crap that no-one else wants: eyelids, the odd hoof, pigs testicles.....
