I actually think that Cole isn't as good as he could be becasue he is not an "intelligent player". He plays "thick" in my opinion. Lambert has a football brain, Cole doesn't.
That video of Carlton Cole was laughable, as the descriptive words like composure, power, agility were just wrong. The one that said composure should have said 'fluffing a good chance and then falling over goalie before scoring flukey goal". I don't even remember him scoring one with his head in that video. Utter rubbish!!!!!
Fat Sam and West Ham are a match made in hell. The conflict between the possession football that most of the players are wired to play and Fat Sam's long ball is still there. Whoever hired him needs their head examined. Carlton Cole has the pace, power and ability to be a really good striker, but he doesn't have the football brain or the work ethic to make it big. As others have said, he's similar to Kenwyne Jones.
Huntelaar is one of the top strikers in Europe - his goal tally is up there with Gomez. Cisse has had a great half a season and you put him in the top 10 where Huntelaar will be a regular in Euro 2012.
I was asked to name my top 10 strikers at this moment in time. Want to talk about Cisse before joining Newcastle? Okay then, he played for Freiburg, in the same league as Huntelaar, and had a better scoring record. In fact, he had a better ratio of goals to minutes played than anyone else in the league. Sorry, but I don't rate Huntelaar as one of my top 10. Fair enough he's having a good season, but from Bundesliga alone I rate Gomez, Podolski and Lewandowski higher.
Have to agree with joe, Cisse is definitely one of the top 10 strikers in the world. My Uncle lives in Freiburg (beautiful place) and I've see them many times. While I admit Freiburg are a mediocre side, Cisse stood out! His goals to game ratio was superb, and he carried the team! How anyone can say he is not as good as Huntelaar is beyond me!
Blackpool 1 up at half time Thomas Ince. I don't like that pitch, I remember we struggled on it, parts of it are like a pudding.
If you thought Cardiff's attendance was bad, what about Blackpool's crappy attempt? Brummy fans must have nearly out numbered the home fans Crappy little clubs like that don't deserve to be in the premiership
