Off subject a bit but have just watched the Coventry match again and have a question, does anybody know what happened to the poor Coventry player who picked the ball up at the final whistle and tried to make it back to the dressing room. He was almost immediately over-taken and disappeared into the crowd. So the question is (a) did he make it back with the ball or (b) who now has that ball sitting in pride of place in his/her lounge.
Has anyone seen any of those Coventry players? Perhaps Saints fans have a couple as souvenirs. Great to be in that crowd as a winner, but not much fun being crushed as a loser. Or did they make for the stands and walk out that way?
Great read. Dislike Henry Winter a bit though, I can just imagine him be-grudgingly doing an interview with Rickie before going up to the Manc derby or something. Nice to hear from Rick though, he dosen't give a lot away in interviews and seems quite quiet this is a nice insight.
Great to see the excellent Lambo what a great guy. Cones across as quiet and quite reserved. Great season and looking forward to seeing him next year in the prem.
Shows that Rickie has brains. He bothered to learn from the best. Have you seen a few photos from his pre-Saints days..? He's slimmed down remarkably, since he's been at Southampton. Nobody can accuse him of secret noshing these days.
