Talking about height, I saw dyer in his 4x4 Porsche the other day and he looked like a kid driving it with his big floppy hat he was wearing, funny as hell
Perhaps there club could work on a new viagra that, when taken, makes you 3-4 inches taller? Lol. Valley, I'v seen him in that. Saw the NP was N12 DYR? Or something like that. Got alongside, thumbs up and bless him, he could barely see over the passnger window to acknowledge me lol.
No but he is a man learning his trade and I believe he will become a great manger one day .be it with us or else where
so is BR a poor manager for having no plan B as many have pointed out? brendan is a good manager but i would never say the best we have had because he took over a successful team in the first place. He has some bad management skills that he has demonstrated through out the season like his choice and timing of subs, but he is learning and as long as he dont let the hype of the papers go to his head then he could be a very good manager because these same papers and media will knock you off your pedestal the minute it goes all wrong... this next season will be the time to see if he is that bit special or not.. or that he got lucky with us with the timing that he took us over.....he has had a relatively an easy ride so far with taking over a good side and he showed some signs that he is good with his loan signings but this new season is the season where he wont have the unknown factor in his favour and he will start the season like everyone else and it will be his management skills that will be under scrutiny with how well he performs.....hope he can do well and prove that he does have what it takes to manage a big club one day........the jury is out for me until i see how well he does this season whether he does have a plan B and C if plan A is not working .....
An easy ride? Are you taking the piss? Okay, he inherited a good team, but thst team wouldn't be where it is now without Sinclair, gylfi, Danny, caulker, all signing made by him. Also, Sousa had a different system so buck has changed that and you need to remember that buck had to change things to get us promoted. He must have done something different because we failed to get promotion under previous managers.
I see we've put in a bid for Gylfi (Source: http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...cial-bid-for-gylfi-sigurdsson-91466-30896978/). Yes, it's been laughed off by Babbel, but this is classic Huw. Testing the waters to see what they are looking for long before anyone else has even thought about putting a bid in. We can now go back to the drawing board knowing, with a bit more clarity than before, what we have to do to get him.
Why ? Do we go in for £10m then work our way down ? Do you really have any concept of doing business, you start low and work up to a level that is accepted, if your highest offer is not accepted you walk away !
I don't think anyone will realistically know what the bid size was. Find me a source with it in writing, and within a quote, and then we're talking. In fact, even in the article that I just posted there is nothing in the quotes that even say that it was Swansea that placed the bid. The rest of the article could just be manufactured by the journalist to make a story. Not sure what to make of it, to be honest!
I said from the beginning that it's likely the gunners will sign him, but it's down to the player as well as the club, if he has told babbel that he will not return that is likely to drive the price down, unless a bidding war happens.
That depends, Basingstoke Royal. He likes working under Brendan Rodgers, and he's guaranteed first team football here. We've got a lot of boxes ticked. We can't argue if he goes to United or Arsenal, but if we can negotiate a reasonable transfer fee, you might be surprised where he ends up.
An easy ride? Are you taking the piss? Okay, he inherited a good team, but that team wouldn't be where it is now without Sinclair, gylfi, Danny, caulker, all signing made by him..... did not read my post properly AGAIN....He did not come to us without a good side already in place, He also got the backing that jenkins was FORCED to give him by the board . if the same backing was given to martinez and sousa then they too would have got us up......Rodgers did not have to do that much to improve the squad and we just about done enough to stay up with the others being really bad teams.....let us see how he does this season where he has no advantages to see if he has what it takes or that he got lucky at taking a team over that was on the brink of going up anyway but for no backing until he got there.....
