15 million buy out clause get real talksport we paid 10 mill for him. You are talking about Mike Ashley here you know . Demba Ba was a free transfer different matter.
Did Cisse mean that goal last nite do you think? Matteo reckons it was a fluke, personally i thought he did. Anyway, not much i fancy today so don't think i will be having a bet but goodluck to all who do. By the way, i see a race at Brighton is called ''read ryan moore exclusively on betfair handicap''..i didn't know he wrote or spoke!?
Hello lads. No wager for me again...off to the garden with the old factor 12 and a Val McDermid novel. No lunch today..just Vitamin D from the big bronzing ball. I see that Tony McCoy portrait went for £74m in New York last night...incredible,didn't think they were big NH fans over there.. GL all.
I would agree with that more readily Oddy had I not been foolish enough to invest in Save The Bees. No, fair play to him. It was a nice driving finish from him. The get.
Silk Drum had absolutely no luck in running there, though Lee Topliss could probably have done better. I think it might well have won with a better draw or a bit of fortune.
Oldrik drifts to 10/1 just topped e/w, as well as decent sized win bet last night. dickies only ride of the day and the horse has shown a liking for give in the ground . Big time fingers crossed
**** me Dex I nearly spilled my beer when I read that Harbottle - unlucky mate, hope you picked up a bit of place money
Mine didn't even manage that jumped miles to the left on every fence soon out of the race won't touch oldrik again until at least going left handed that way might stand a chance !
"Down On His Luck" by Frederick McCubbin - to be found in the Art Gallery of Western Australia in Perth. Reminds me of backing losers ...........
8.00 Tipperary Soohaad 9/2 Kevin Prendergast's 3 year old filly looks a huge price to me as I think her opening handicap mark of 79 looks very lenient. She's one of Hard Spun's offspring who have been performing excellent in the past year or so and I definitely think he's a stallion worth following this year. Soohaad made her debut back in October when running over 7f at Leopardstown. She looked a little inexperienced that day and that she would come on an awful lot for the run. The form of that race looks pretty decent (front two haven't run again since but have a Guineas and Oaks entry) but the 3rd Twirl is a 104 rated performer who has come 2nd in a Group 3 so the form doesn't look bad at all. That was this filly's only run as a 2 year old and 3 weeks ago she made her seasonal reappearance and debut as a 3 year old when scoring at Gowran Park in a maiden. On soft ground, she got the hang of things late on and was going away at the finish to score by 1L. The 2nd horse is now rated 80 so this win, coupled with her debut, lead me to believe her opening handicap mark of 79 is very lenient. Today she is stepped up in trip to 9f and it looks sure to suit. The ground shouldn't be an issue and I'll be very surprised if this unexposed filly proves to be worse than her rating.
Foot Soldier 10/1 in the 8.00 Tipperary looks well treated with his 5lb claimer on ground that should suit
