    Just voted for the above, my POTS was Mackie, and young player Samba Diakite. Anyone care to share their thoughts?

    Our loan boys, Taiwo and Diakite, aside, the only player I can imagine top half Prem teams wanting to buy from us is Faurlin, my player of the season by a mile, despite missing half of it. Looked totally at home in this league, will be like a major new signing next season. Does he qualify for young player too? I love Diakite but how many games has he played?

    I went with Mackie, just for the effort he's but in. A lot of our squad have been too inconsistent, hardly any have been 'ever-presents'. Mackie gets it for his commitment and his vital goals.

    Diakite for young player. The fact that this guy is still so young is part of the reason it will be a tragedy to miss out on the chance of signing him. Huge potential!

    Hill and Adel. I couldn't vote Diakite, he's only played about 6 games

    But in the short time he's been here, how much has he added to the team? I was sorely tempted to go for Adel, but the front half of the season, and especially the Fulham exit, put me off.

    I voted for Clint for player, and Adel for young player. Jamie has been great but something about Clint's renaissance in the heart of our defence has been really outstanding (Closed my eyes on the Chelsea game though!).

    Just voted for HH's first goal at Stoke for goal of the season. There may have been better shots, but voted for that header because of the brilliant build up to it as well as the Iceman's final execution!

    How can Diakate be player of the season with the amount of games he has played? Hill for me, or Mackie or Tarrabt.

    Think the only constants we have had al season are Hill and Mackie.
    Hill a model pro showing how it should be done and how to grasp an opportunity
    Mackie for constant effort, despite his lack of end product.
    HH unlucky not be in this. Had a great start.
    Its player of the season, not player of the last few games you can remember ! Dont think to many of the squad were consitant enough over the whole season...
    Really split between these too...oh go on then....Hill !
    Ali for young player !
