vs View attachment 13249 Old Trafford 76,000 Attendance 4:00pm kick-off form guide - United haven't won a game since we beat Aston Villa 4-0 a couple of weeks ago, since then we dropped 2 points against Everton and Man City, whereas the away team have lost 3 out of the last 4 games. Players to watch- Swansea will have to watch out for Wayne Rooney who's only a goal behind Robin Van Persie in the goalscoring charts, other players mentioned are Ashley Young, Nani and Antonio Valencia, on the away team, we will have to watch out for Scott Sinclair he's got a lot of pace, Nathan Dyer and Gylfi Sigurdsson. The last time these two met- I remember the game very well, i think it was after we got battered 6-1 by Man City at home, and Swansea were unbeaten at home at the time, the game finished 1-0 thanks to a goal by Chicharito. The referee for this game is Chris Foy.
Comes to something when the Senior Member posting this thread spells Manchester Manchetser and Swansea will have to watch out orf? Wayne Rooney, trivial I know but enjoy the game and just how do you become a senior member?
Was Matth the quickest ever to achieve Senior Member status? Serious question... Tbh I'm feeling more confident about this game due to Swansea's playing style than if they were a "Park the bus" team. Our guys will know they will have to perform or else Swansea'll pass us off the pitch. can't help but feel that the City result earlier in the day will have a big effect on morale by the time we kick off. Either way I think that we'll win, but a City draw or loss will motivate the guys to go out and really smash Swansea. A City win will be a big blow because playing QPR at home really isn't such a scary prospect...
Yes but it's not quite the same as Newcastle away, is it? If Swansea were playing at home I'd give them a SLIGHT chance of getting something from the game... But I feel there's virtually no chance they'll get something at the Etihad, Newcastle are our only realistic hope I'm afraid. One of my best mates is a massive QPR fan though, and if Rangers take any points off City on the final day to stay up and help United win the title, we're going to go absolutely ballistic.
The way this seasons gone I wouldnt be too surprised but part of me rally thinks we will hammer you. Depends on the first goal really. How early and who scores it.
The earlier result is key. If City win at Newcastle then the games up to be honest lads, your lot would have nothing to play for and probably win by just a couple of goals. If City drop points then it's game on and then I'd expect it to be game over by half time. Being realistic we all know Utd are red hot favourites but stranger things have happened and you will have to get the ball off us first. Still can't quite believe you've lost an 8 point lead even after we helped you out by beating them.
This is how I see the season panning out. Newcastle and City draw and we give the Swans a good hiding, giving us hope. We then fail to beat Sunderland while City beat QPR and we finish second on away goals. At this point, given that I will be in Barcelona, I will get bloody bladdered and forget football for as long as is possible.
