Anyone else looking forward to hopefully see him back in action tonight?

I can't wait to see him involved in the squad for a longer period of time.

I've seen enough of him now to be convinced that he could play a vital role next season.

He's got great vision, and he's class and putting in that cheeky little through ball or lob ball into the box. He can see a run from a player and pick him out. I remember last minute vs Villa away, he set up Cabaye for what should have been the winner.

Also fantastic ball control and good lay off to set up Cabaye for the winner vs Wigan.

He's also a decent dribbler, his feet move so quickly. I know he's not in the same league of Ben Arfa in terms of skill and dribbling, but his feet are probably just a little bit quicker than Ben Arfa's.

He's got good acceleration and pace over a short distance. Not great long distance pace, but good enough to get past players.

I could see something like this in the future, if we take off Jonas for a game and become more attacking -

    Ba-------Cisse------Ben Arfa

    ---Cabaye-----Marv-----

    ---------Tiote-----------

    <ok>

He's left footed and has a decent strike on that foot.

Watch the goal at around 1:27. **** quality but watch. Great footwork and class finish.

Looking forward to see him back in, but wouldn't expect to see him getting much time if any tonight.

Pardew will try and ease him in rather than throwing him straight into the mix of a big game.

We won't see him till next season unless we get a ridiculous amount of injuries.

I think if Marveaux goes into the midfield three, Cabaye would have to drop deeper, as the formation works better with two deep CM's. Worth a try though

If Marv was to come on to go more attacking, it'd be:

    ------Ba---Cisse------
    Marv------------Benny
    -----Cabs--Tiote-----

Think we should forget all about him until next season. Get him 100% fit and raring to go.
