Agreed. For some reason a lot of people are just reading the Allams quotes and believeing whatever they say.
Best choice IF Nick does not come back as manager. At least the players know and work with Wigley and Wigley has turned down the chance to work with Stu Pearce and the GB olympic team. Now that may well sooth the pain a little bit. I wonder IF Nick will go back and work with the young kids. Less pressure for starters. Just a thought.
It's no good taking an alternative viewpoint either if that viewpoint is seriously flawed, it's easy to be contrary about things like this but I will say this now, I'm with Nicky and Pearson not the mindless owners on this one, they can take their failed KC plans and shove them up their fat arses!
Agreed. But what about Nick working alongside Mad Mick to gain that managerial nous that only years of experience bring ? Whatever the Allams do it has to be something that keeps the squad together. imo. If not Nick Barmby then either Steve Wigley OR Mad Mick for me. Nobody else thanks. I wonder if Billy Davies may well be in line for the Birmingham job IF Chris Hughton takes over at WBA. Just a thought of mine.
Think I'm going to take time out from posting on here Premier until the dust settles, there's a few speaking sense like you and OLM but also a massive amount of utter codswallop and tripe being posted on here to be honest I'm worried my lappy is going to get pounded by my fist when I read some of it
Head of player Performance i think ? Could he be Ehabs new council and advice centre. Has Robinson been working behind Barmbys back and as a spy ? Who knows but i smell a rat, maybe ?
You are well within your rights to accept and beleave what the Allams say. Thankfully most of us dont. Even in your wildest dreams Do you really think that Nick would have ignored the money that the Allams say was there in January ?
Correct ^^^^ this. Thats the truely sad part. Sadly we shall never know now. Hull City Football Club and the fans will be the biggest losers out of all this.
I don't think there was millions there for Nick in January but if there was he could have turned it down because if he had spent the money and still missed out on the playoffs then he would have got the sack anyway?
Why will we? I’m not starting an argument with you FT, but you more than most spent the whole of the January transfer window going on about Billy Sharp or X, Y and Z and chasing the Premier League with the spending of what would be a fairly small outlay for the prize on offer. So, why now do you find it totally incomprehensible that Mr Allam shared your dream in January? Sometimes I don’t agree with what you post, but you always stick to your principles and your arguments, it seems that this time you have completely gone against everything you’ve said previously to jump on the Allam out bandwagon. TBH, I expected you to be the one person on this forum who would look at the bigger picture and consider what might have happened, rather than what other posters have told you?
First of all neither do i wish to argue with you. As for Billy Sharp, Yes he would have been a good signing but not for the money or wages that Southampton paid. Ok you can argue that it would be £3m gamble against the £80m+ that the PL brings. So IF what the Allams say today is true why did they not tell AP/NB that money of that nature was there. AP/NB had Robert Snodgrass sorted in Jan but the Allams would not sign it off. I dont wish the crazy over spending or gambling either. Why i want the Allams out is simple. They by there own admission dont know or understand football. Ehab does not like sport full stop. I do stick to what i belave in and take alot of stick for it at times. That does not bother me one bit. What i wont accept is seeing the 2 people who know what they are doing forced out and undermined. If i had done what Assem Allam has done in saving the club to the tune of £51m then i would have put it in the hands of AP to run. Give him his budget and say get on with it. Ehab should have been kept well away from Hull City. There have been issues between Ehab and Adam for yonks. Of course Assem will back his son. That is the biggest mistake Assem has made. Finally, Until Adam and Nick are free to say they peace then all we have is speculation. The summer should have been an exciting period for Hull City fans. Seeing the new players in that Nick wants and getting the buzz back early. What we have now is simply chaos - rumour and denials.
Its not as though he needs to earn any money for a start. He may take a break for a while from the game and / or do some more coaching badges.
