Pearson wasn't an employee of Hull City Football Club nor did he have a Hull City contract. He is a self emplyed advisor to the club and as such if the Allam's dont want to work with him anymore they are well within their right to do so!
Soemthing's just not right, i'm only reading from the internet & it says that the whole interview is in the papaer, but they have handled it all badly & until everything comes out in the open then i'm not going to make any decisions regarding any of the people involved. I would love to be able to trust the Allams but as I said my views on them are none at thia point. On the note of the 50 million, does anyone know if it's actually been put in & all debts have been paid in full or they have just guarenteed it & it's getting paid off in chunks, for example so far they have paid off a chunk of 10 million over 2 years & the rest over say another 8 years?
if the 'staff' they are laying off includes the heavy costs of any number of Adam Pearson, Ghilas, Olifinjana and McShane then fine. Unfortunately thanks to the PFA, some 'staff' are easier to get rid off than others. I reiterate, although Adam Pearson has done loads for Hull City it appears, Adam Pearson has done more for Adam Pearson than anyone. I wonder what his deal actually was? We seem to know all about the three players, but why can't Adam's consultancy income be published
He did say that the matter was in the hands of his lawyers, so maybe he is looking at a possible breach of the consultancy agreement
I was talking about getting rid of the overpaid crap, not the owners. You said they may have sacked AP for a failure in offloading the overpaid crap and I'm saying we'll have a much harder job doing it without him. Barmby would have every right to object to being asked to work for an older manager. They offered him the job permanently and he is the manager. Why should he step down a level? This is academic anyway because that isn't what happened anyway. That part about the money is complete bollocks, they've lied about it in the past and they're still lying. No manager in NB's position would turned down the opportunity to sign players if it was possible. I know of a few players we very nearly signed in January and the plug was pulled by the owners at the last minute. I daresay OLM and PT will know of several more. Their ambition is for this club to be in the PL by signing Man U youngsters and them suddenly tripling in value so we can sell them on, they think that just because Chester and Stewart have done well, everyone else will have the same success. It doesn't work like that.
what has happened this week, as you put it, happens at every club. Although alot like to think it sometimes, we are not unique. This is football and owners make stupid decisions which sometimes fail. If this one turns out to be a winner, which it might for all kinds of reasons, then we all know that Assam Allam will once again be a self-made millionaire who commands respect. This isnt life. Its Football stupid!!
Personally I think it's disgusting if Nick isn't given the chance to build his team after doing a great job being thrust in at the deep end, anybody saying Nick 'wasn't up to the job' after half a season in charge and no previous managerial experience, look where we ended up after he took on a squad of somebody elses players. This isn't directed at you Patty, but others that seem to think a change of manager will make a difference to us at this time more than anything Nicky wasn't given a chance to prove.
because thanks to the ridiculous strength of the PFA and the PMA, it would have cost then dearly. they are businessmen and they will try to save what ever cash they can. I personally hope that NIck Barmby is still manager next week, but if he isnt, then that is another one for Gordon Taylor and the Managers Association equivalent to bleat about on behlaf of us fans no doubt. Was Tevez ever sacked by the way or did the PFA save him as well?
with the greatest respect to my friend OLM, who I know and pass the time of day with irregularly, and to PT, who I dont, they have been wrong before.
They've only really been wrong on things like who we might sign, and that's because things changed after they've said it. I don't really see how someone getting info from within the club could be so enormously wrong on something like this.
It's a matter of opinion at the minute on who you want to believe, reality is we may never know the truth behind all of this! On a personal note, I am siding with Pearson & Barmby but they are by no means perfect so i could be proved wrong?

So am I going to trust 100 % what they are posting now? You can bet I am.
I tend to agree they speak sense and mostly speak the truth, don't know if I want them to be proved right this time though!
