    Press Release

WORLD’S HIGHEST-RATED HORSE TO GALLOP AT NEWMARKET ON SATURDAY

Racegoers at this weekend’s QIPCO Guineas Festival will have the chance to see the world’s best horse in action with Frankel due to work on the Rowley Mile before racing on Saturday, May 5.

Khalid Abdulla’s brilliant miler lit up the racing world at last year’s QIPCO Guineas Festival with a scintillating display of front-running to win the Group One QIPCO 2000 Guineas by six lengths.

He subsequently went on to annex the St James's Palace Stakes and the QIPCO Sussex Stakes before ending his season with another outstanding performance as he readily captured the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes Sponsored by QIPCO at Ascot in October.

The Sir Henry Cecil-trained colt, who has yet to taste defeat in nine career starts, will be making his first racecourse appearance since recovering from a leg injury he sustained in April.

Frankel is scheduled to arrive at 12.30pm and is expected to work with Bullet Train and Jet Away at approximately 12.55pm.

Make sure you get there early!

I originally thought he was working on the Sunday but Saturday suits me much better as I'm planning on being there for the 2000 Guineas. It will be nice to get a good look at him in the flesh to see how he has progressed over the winter, and how forward he looks physically.

Free to view on RUK. Ch4 might show a replay but they won't have it live.

Zenyatta, even without a subscription? I think I have a login (if I can remember it) but don't pay anything. (And my streaming site doesn't work anymore).

Was possibly going to go since I'll be at home but I think I'll be too dead from exams! I might make the effort anyway now.

Yes free to view. That certainly applies on the TV and I assume it will work online too.
