I'm I the only one having wet dreams about our potential right hand side next season?

Santon at RB and Hatem Ben Arfa RW?

Ben Arfa's skill and pace, drawing defenders to him, Santon making overlapping runs with his immense pace.

Both great at dribbling, both good on the ball, both have good pace, and both of them running on the same side, they should be an absolute nightmare to deal with, and they both have pace to track back also.

it will be dribble city down the right mind.
if we can get a skillful left back to compliment spiderman's skills it will be a one way ticket to jizz central.

Sounds good to me and providing we get a top class left back with Jonas in front of him we'd be a real potent force.

Jonas in front? Oh right.. i get what you mean, I wasn't talking about cm's.

Then It will be New LB, Jonas and Ba/New LW on the left.

Well in that case, Santon, Tiote and Ben Arfa on the right :D

I know none of the front 3 are rigid, but I'd play Cisse on the left as he is far more mobile (and surprisingly good at defending that left side) and keep Ba as the target man in the centre.

    Aside from that UNREAL!

Demba has better pace, but I agree Cisse seems to be more mobile. I think it should depend on the game really. If we need that physical presence, put Ba in the middle, if we need that player that will make an intelligent run and finish off quick moves, then Cisse.

Not a Newcastle fan but surely if Cisse and Ba are welcome to playing on the left or central, or both up top, then that gives you three choices that are hopefully all effective. Great way of beating the second-guessing of your opponent and springing surprises.

Not knowing if your going to have to deal with pace, strength or skill on the ball and where it's going to come from is a dangerous place to be. I'm a saints fan and kinda dreading having to play Newcastle. I honestly believe a front 3 of Ba, Cisse and Ben Arfa is the deadliest in the Prem. Individually there's better, but no better combination.

Santon moving over to the right is something I've been waiting for since he arrived. I do think he has done a cracking job filling in on the left, as did Raylor. I've been quite happy to go without a recognised left back for the sake of signing Santon. I honestly believe this lad will be immense next season. He exudes class and time will show him to be top class.

I'm quite happy for Ba and Cisse to continue being interchangeable too. They seem to have it worked out between them. Great attitudes on the pitch the pair of them.

^This entire bit of the squad is very well covered as Jonas can play right or left and push H.B.A. into the free role beind the striker, and then u have Obertan and Marveux covering either flank. Good CM cover as well with people like Guthrie, Raylor and Gosling not even in the side plus the youth's. DEFENCE is where we need to throw all the money this coming season.

Santon and Benny down thew right will be particularly potent as Benny is completely left footed and Santon is vitually completely right footed, so we'll be able to go both ways.

What we need in the summer is a top LB, a CB to be competition with Saylor (Vertonghen, Douglas, Alder etc.) and to not sell any big players.

This is all good - my passion pole is stiffening at the thought. Right now I need a 3 foot tall woman with no teeth and a flat head to put my beer....life would then be perfect...aaaahh !
