A Psychic Medium friend of my nephew's girlfriend's father, who works in a laundry in Newington Street, saw a vision of Raich Carter rise out of the steam. His words as true as I'm typing here were " Worry not, I will return and all will be well with the Mighty Tigers" said in a Sunderland accent of course.

After giving the Brownie return much thought I came to the conclusion that I'd sooner have him back than all the names I've seen mentioned in connection with the job, this is how bad things are at the moment

Hypotheticaly ( and probably hyperbole as well) does that mean that if the tanned was to return then many people on these threads will not be supporting, or more to the point, be at the KC next season?

Don't really understand why everyone hates Brown to be honest. And stop going to matches because the best manager in our history returned... Don't be pathetic.

Him coming back wouldn't stop me. I thought it was a shame it came to it, but the decision to replace him was correct*. We were doomed with him that season so we needed to give ourselves a chance of changing it. There's no grudges or bad feeling about how poor he was for over a year, and I said at the time that if he gets a job elsewhere then I'd wish him well and hope he'd learnt from his mistakes.

*The fact the wrong person replaced him I consider a seperate decision.
