    Just three weeks ago.

Is that the shortest ever on a side to win the league, that has not gone on to done so?

One bookie has actually paid out on Utd winning the league - Fred Done (I think). Looks likely he's lost himself half a million quid. He did the same in 1998 when Utd were 12 points clear, but went on to lose it. What a twat <doh>

Nah I bet hes made a fortune from it. Stunts like this bring attention. Every desperate punter in the land will be putting a bet on there for next season.

Plus hes not lost out yet has he. Super QPR might......no......no they wont.

True. Creative marketing is the term that's used I think. I don't personally buy into it to be honest. For a million + quid there has to be better way to market a firm!

From what I gather he's not a huge firm and he lost about 600k in 1998 and a similar amount this year (if utd lose of course). He's either a daft **** or a clever ****er. Not sure on the whole story, and what to make of it to be honest.

14 years ago he lost £600k and hes still going. Hes doing something right thats all I know. Any small firm that loses that sort of money and still exists 14 years down the line is impressive.

    Fair comment <ok>

Still an odd one though imo.
