Cheeky bastard, it wasn't so easy for his side against us was it? Is he trying some sort of psychology here, thinking that Swansea and Sunderland will be annoyed at these comments and raise their game to prove him wrong? I obviously do want us to do well against United, but it would sour it now if we were to beat them and it handed the title to City. For once I really hope Newcastle win next weekend.

The title race would already be over if Fergie had brought Howard Webb on for the last 20 minutes :)

Not one of mine , I stole it from another site. Funny though.

United do have the easiest games, cant see how anyone can argue with that.

Newcastle away, no way an easy game then a QPR side who will probably have to win to have any chance of staying up.

Swansea at home, not a hard game at all then us away, well we stopped playing a few weeks ago.

Absolutely - it will certainly be an exciting end to the season that's for sure (for those watching the top and bottom!) our players have a foot on the beach at the moment - unless they get a kicking off MON this week!

To be fair I don't think you should really take offence. Its just mind games. Unfortunatley for Mankini Fergie didn't react and took defeat like a gent. I can see why everyone thinks Swansea and Sunderland are dead rubber now, but I think that's two tough games. Sunderland always raise their game against the big guns regardless how many ex Man U are in their ranks. Swansea can be a frustrating time for any team in the league.

Its great its going to the wire and we still have these mind games being played at this stage of the season.

Mr mancini ---- which club is the only one not to be defeated by City ?
----- which club were a matter off minutes from doing the double over City (having outplayed them to be the only team to take anything from the Etihad.) ?
------ which club narrowly lost only 1-0 at Old Trafford, having had to score Utd's goal for them ?
Still , don't mind being an easy team if we take 4 pts from him again next year

Think you're misunderstanding the nature of his comment, its not aimed at Sunderland. He was trying to bait Ferguson. He basically employed the exact same trick that Fergie played on KK all them years ago. Fergie was wise to it though. Mankini has obviously just done a fair bit of reading up on how Fergie has won some of his titles on mind games alone.

"Mindgames" or not I think its disrespectful for any manager to describe another Premier League team as "easy".

I'd love it if Citeh lost their remaining games and Manure only picked up a point - showing they werent easy games but Citeh lose anyway.

He's saying it to get exactly this response.

He is trying to fire your players up to play the game of their lives. If you roll over for us, he can simply say "I told you so".

The unfortunate thing for us, now we've completely bottled it, is that Newcastle are probably going to need to win the game against City which will mean an open game, and I just feel City will have far too much for the Geordies.

This one's going to hurt. A lot. The only solace is that it's not the bindippers.

I want both City and United to win their next games, so it sets it up nicely for a last day title decider at the SoL

He's just playing mind games, 100%. Comments like that heap pressure on Man Utd to win and also make the opposition up their performances.

Newcastle away should be harder than Sunderland away, bearing in mind we've nowt to play for and the mags are still after a CL spot. But Swansea are no pushovers whilst QPR are pretty crap, frankly, despite having to fight for their lives.

Even stevens if you ask me.

Fear not Terry, we're gonna to smash Mankini's lot. We got the last of our ****e stuff out in that first 45 against Wigan hopefully. We won't rock up half cocked again all season. Still a tough game but I have a feeling if we score early, their arses will fall out.
