Pompey and saints fans beware. There is news afoot in the middle east that an oil tycoon is planning to buy out Portsmouth FC and Southampton FC with a view to merging the two sides! The word is that Dr Asyp La'Folio has plans to use Southampton's newer statium and Portsmouth's superior squad to produce a side that will be able to compete in the Premier League. With a merger planned it is important to Dr La'Folio that Southampton get promoted so that the new side starts in the Championship rather than League One. To this end, he will be loaning Pompey's top players to Southampton for the rest of the season and he has warned Steve Cotterill that he will be sacked if Portsmouth reach the Championship Playoffs. However, SC will be looking over his shoulder anyway as Larrip Stoffi is to be appointed Driector of Football for Solent United, starting next season. I would urge Pompey and Saints fans alike to contact their respective clubs to convey their disgust at the way we,the fans are being treated, without any consultation in the matter

It would never work because the few diehards would do everything in their power to cause conflict where possible. Who would run it and who would select the players we lose? Hi Dev. Day of reckoning today, for us and them. If we lose the play off dream is probably gone, if Southampton lose, the play offs are probably reality.
Football365 end of season prediction has us in 6th place. Well we'll soon know if we can carry on dreaming. 0-1 to Pompey today - cheered on by the 4000!
Only partly agree with that Meowth. With results going our way recently we have a game in hand that we can afford to lose. Two losses would still leave us with a shout but it would obviously place a heap more pressure on us to win the rest.
