Doesn't that entitle him to a testimonial?

 

If he stays fit for the majority of the next 4-5 seasons and performs with bravery and strength, then yes. He's a local lad.

I think we could tempt Barcelona into the Shola testimonial. They'll be keen to pay tribute to one of the finest footballers ever to grace their ground. Puyol still has nightmares about him

Steven Taylor is on a fast track to becoming a toon legend if he rid himself of this injury curse. I love to see young lads come through the ranks. Not sure how they work the testimonial thing if you're only 26? Usually they just donate the proceedings to charity or community based projects anyway now (and they ****ing should as well mind the money they're on)

Seems a lifetime ago that I saw him and Ramage play together for the first time and thought they both looked good. Expected both of them to go on to great things. Pity it didn't quite work out for Ramage.

Maybe CH can get something out of him.

 

They'll probably just wait until the end of his career to give him a testimonial. There was a time when he was having some contract issues that I was worried for him but until that injury this season he was in the form of his life - hope he can come back and repeat it. He is class.
