    yeah Rooney goalscoring record this season prooves that ain't it? <doh>.. If Aguero is better striker then Rooney why has he scored less goals then Rooney? especially with players like yaya and Silva in his team

    How many goals has rooney scored from penalties?
    And it's just my opinion anyway, if i wanted a striker that was most likely to finish a chance out of the 3 i'd take Tevez followed by Aguero followed by Rooney.
    Rooney is not the best finisher out of the 3.

    The penalty argument isn't going to help you.

    Rooney: 137 premier league goals, 12 of which were penalties
    Tevez: 70 premier league goals, 11 of which were penalties

    In fact, over their PL histories, both Tevez (14%) and Aguero (15%) have scored a higher proportion of their goals from the penalty spot than Rooney (9%).

    Be interesting to see what facts you base your argument on. After all, Aguero has fewer goals and more assists than Rooney.
