I think you are spot on with that.

I suspect that not only has Nick been told he will have no money, but also that they will have to sell some of the better players.
That would be completely in line with the redundancies and cost cuttings at the club since Christmas.

Ed: Ooops! Just read Prems post. Oh well, back to "I can't make any sense of it!"

At this moment I must not be the only person feeling physically sick at what is being reported with no offical statement to either deny such stories or confirm them.

If these rumours are true I really can't see Mr Allam being particularly welcome in the city any more no matter which other causes he may announce he is supporting.

I am just hoping that we all wake up tomorrow and this is a nightmare, and does anyone know a rich hull fan who can take the club over (stay away Duffen and Bartlett)

I honestly thought we were going to have a good transfer window and start next season on a high. Can anyone confirm who owns our stadium btw please.

not sure what the allems are expected to be doing ... the club is losing money so austerity measures are the best way to return the clubs fortunes off the pitch around.
Some might say spend big and get into the premiership where theres a pot of gold to injest at leasure - but thats not really true is it .

Im disappointed that Barmbys interview would be a cause for his suspension , its nothing outrageous - though its had probably been agreed by both parties in January to tow the club line of "New players not needed" spiel

Suspended for airing an honest view, and trying to force the hand that owns the club.... NICE !!!!! While the loss of NB and AP would be painful, the suspicions that the Allams are looking to sell could be even worse, lets be honest who the hell are going to invest that sort of money in us at the moment..... how much is the Euro millions running at ????

So you want us to lose upto about 10M next season, when rules only allow us to do it for 5m at maximum?

Then also take into account wages, so 5 million would be maximum of one player. Billy Sharp with transfer fee and wages is at least 5M, which would impact upo nthe placing of the FPP rules.

    Is 51M not enough?

Suspending Barmby is bad enough but selling the club ? WTF

Who is going to buy the club now or are the Allams willing to take a huge loss on the money they have put in ?

Am I the only one fearing that we might not have a club at all in a few months?

Don't make my new child (8 weeks to go) support Brighton!

    Horrible news about our club.

If it truly was a 'gift' then they will hand it over to someone for nothing. However, I would be extremely surprised if they do that.

No you are not alone, although it may not be quite that bad.

What worries me is how, if the Allams are looking to minimize their losses, they try and accomplish that.

Assem Allam promised Nick funds in January, but then didn't provide them. Nick covered for him by saying he didn't want to sign anyone, but he wanted to make sure that it didn't happen again in the summer, so he gave them a gentle nudge.

Assem seems to have taken this as a personal insult and being a bit bonkers, he's decided to sack him. I'll always be grateful to him for saving the club, but his actions today show him to be completely clueless with regard to football matters. He's just sacked two of the most important and well liked people in Hull City's history.

I honestly don't think he knows what he's done, he thinks it's just a business and if an employee annoys you, then you sack them. I think he's about to get a wake up call like nothing he's ever encountered before.

I'm arriving to our first home game early, in an old clapped out banger, and accidently on purpose clattering bang smack into the side of that ****s rolls royce. Putting an engine in the boot to the rear wheels so I have a definite means of reverse and escape.

What a ****ing ****er, foreign egyptian **** can **** off back to his homeland.

At least they got the season ticket renewals out before the end of the season to avoid playing down expectations through Chester's interview and then doing this...<doh>
