Fergie is the best manager of his generation. If Nani is good enough, Fergie will spot that and Nani will be the main man. He obviously isn't good enough. As for Veron, he wasn't a right midfielder so what has Beckham got to do with it? Veron wasn't good enough to displace Keane or Scholes, and when we pushed Scholes further forwards to accommodate the Argentine, it didn't work.
On skill, yes. But when talking about others' opinion, I was talking about importance. I've never heard anyone say Nani is more important than Rooney (apart from you and Nolhman). I was talking of skill, my initial importance bit wasnt a like for like comparison with rooney, however I do think nani is more important than rooney and time will tell. No he doesn't. He cuts inside and gets into the box a lot more these days. does he bollox. he has always gone through phases of doing this I wouldnt say more. By doing so he deprives rooney off the 'outball' that rooney lovers cream about. You need to get down to OT, you will see the amount of times he spends on the right touch line, even when the play is on the left We were talking about importance. Then you went off on a tangent and mentioned Berba's golden boot. yes importance, as in in the absence of rooney nberba stepped up and won the golden boot. how many has rooney won? Fergie is the best manager of his generation. If Nani is good enough, Fergie will spot that and Nani will be the main man. He obviously isn't good enough. you need to listen to what he says about nani As for Veron, he wasn't a right midfielder so what has Beckham got to do with it? Veron wasn't good enough to displace Keane or Scholes, and when we pushed Scholes further forwards to accommodate the Argentine, it didn't work. see the bit about team dynamics
You're on your there then. doesnt mean I am wrong. I was on my own watching the last few games and suggesting rooney needs to be subbed, I got slated and then guess what SAF did? and before you get excited I usually am at OT but was watching it on streams due to little lads birth WITHOUT the ball, he hugs the touchline. WITH it, cuts inside more then he used to. so he hugs the touchline and provides an outball as I have consistently said. Thankyou Doesn't matter. How many of Berba's goals were match-winners compared to Rooney? do you actually watch UTD? coz with that question I have my doubts He doesn't say he's the most important player in the team, that's for sure. again see above. just look at his comments after the charity shield for starters Weak. A top player will make himself a success. really, so berba winning the golden boot was unsuccessful was it? cant get a game and even SAF says its team dynamics you need to really pay attention
When did I say Berba hasn't been successful? At this point we were talking about Nani becoming the main man and you compared his situation to Veron's. I think YOU need to pay more attention.
Talking outta your arse there. Nani is very much the main man when fit and has been since Ronaldo left. Maybe SAF sometimes likes to go for the consistency or defensive abilities of Young or Valencia over him but Nani is still ahead in the pecking order.
Nani is a winger, Rooney is a striker. It should have been obvious from the context and the use of other wingers as an example, that I was talking about his status as No.1 winger. Clearly that was too difficult for you to follow so i'll have to put it into simpler words. Nani is one of the best players at United and, barring usual rotation and one off tactical choices, is SAF's first choice when fit.
Bit of an obnoxious twat aren't you? Me and Fan weren't just talking about wingers, we were talking about all players. Then you jumped in, moved the goalposts and got all uppity when you got set straight. Wind your neck in.
Exactly. I like Nani, but he disappears too often. Valencia is a threat in virtually every game, and he is the only player who consistently gets the better of Ashley Cole, who is probably the best defensive left back in the PL at the moment.
