When Torquay signed Robbo on loan from us, Torquay did not register him before 12.00 on the day they played Hereford. In other words he was ineligible for the game. However Hereford committed a similar crime in the same match. Incidentally, Hereford won the game. The FA have yet to sanction both teams. They both cheated so points deductions should come into play. I would have thought a decision would of been made by now though.

Absolutely, but we both need to be putting points on the table ourselves and not rely on others. The promo places are in our own hands now as other teams seem to be pressing the self destruct button. Let's hope we can hold our nerve.

The Torquay/Hereford hearings are scheduled for next week. Even the Devon media are forecasting a points deduction.

I know we still need to be winning our own, but let's hope it takes some points pressure off of us.

Not that heinious a crime is it though if you mull it over in a deathly boring german lesson? Playing Robbo(and whoever Hereford did) even though they weren 't registered didn't exactly help or hinder anyone in the slightest, yet the FA not only overlook our game against Wycombe but continually turn a blind eye to the inept refereeing <steam>

Have you seen who we've got refereeing on Saturday? Darren Drysdale 50 yellows in 15 games this season, let's hope Harrold doesn't start.

I would argue that playing Robinson and Purdie IS quite a major crime, when Shrewsbury (with Wroe not playing and checking to make sure it was OK to play Grandison) did things by the book. Not exactly cheating but not abiding by necessary rules and as stated before Torquay have previous and, in Hereford's case, a precedent has occurred when Hartlepool were docked 3 points last season.

As regards rules, they are black and white. Whereas, a referee can have a different opinion rightly or wrongly. The main fault with the Wycombe goal decision was down to the linesman who was economical with the truth and nothing to do with opinion.

just to set the record straight, i have nothing against the wobblers. i hope we both go uo and stay up. matster is right i love a bit of idle banter between games and the wibble wobble and jelly on the plate is just that, banter, mind you we both could come a cropper against stockport. now there is a banana skin x 2. i remember the last 2 seasons, chairboy was forever invading our boards and i invented the wibble wobble etc to cool him down. come on you shrews and county. floreat salopia., any stuffing left in those chairs by the way!

i expect the gulls to be docked 6 points and any other club in contention save for those saintly shrews who have put up with kettles and other forms of rubbish refereeing, they have been awarded just 2 penalties this season but in their saintly way have donated penalties that weren't, late goals and even gifted goalfests to the gulls amongst others. the time is here for those saintly shrews ably managed by uncle graham, and run by that port quaffing chairman. yes towns time has come. shrews 2 maccs 0 floreat salopia. may rolands decanter be forever half full, and i have not once mentioned changing that unmentionable.

What I like about this site is that you can submit a post whenever you like even after a few beers! Hopefully Town will get the points necessary to secure promotion and if Wycombe join us, we can enjoy a nice pre match meal in the noodle bar and after our win we can celebrate the in the Bombay Palace. I may even buy Rocky a pint!

the top 3 seem to be sorted with the temporary incursion by the shakers with their game in hand. i suspect their last 3 results may have the shakers clinging to the life rafts! at the end of this month. come on you shrews away to shots, strong team please uncle graham, a draw would be useful, another win adds to gt's manager of the month chance. now chairman roland you know your decanter does not travel well. just have it ready for your return and stick to your caraffe of irn bru
