As plenty other people have said, Irish Centre's a good bet - cheap pints and a nice atmosphere and the queue's aren't ridiculous compared to fluid round the corner.

 

I like City Vaults - jack the rippers on and the music is better

 

Used the Vaults back in the day. Had some good doormen that were Toon fans and always had good banter.

 

I've got just the place Agent Bruce.

If all you lads get the train down to Grantham and then jump in a taxi to Melton Mowbray, I'll meet you for a few ales in the Mash Tub and then move on to King's Head to watch the game.
I'll be travelling back from work in Northampton therefore I may be about 10 mins late so it may be prudent to get 3 pints lined up for me so's I can catch up.

Don't care much for the name of the pub though. Mash Tub sounds a bit too much like someone who shall remain nameless.
