He made a bit of a twat of himself the other morning too when the new broke about England cricketer Michael Yardy going home with depression. He said that depressed people should "pull their socks up"
I think so. He was funny the other day too, they were talking about William the Conqueror (for some reason) and Irani mentioned the Battle of Hastings, to which Brazil replied in an exasperated tone "What's the Battle of Hastings got to do with William the Conqueror?"
Brazil is a ****ing idiot. He's a grown man who still thinks it's funny to pretend he cant physically say the word Rangers. he says r-r-r-r-r-r-r-rangers grow up you fat alcholic ****. that depression comment the other day was pathetic aswell. basicly if your depressed - man up
Always boasting about the posh functions he goes to, name-dropping and going on about all the champagne/wine/white spirit he drinks too. Irani's not much better with his half-Bolton half-faux posh accent, but he's not as much of an imbecile as Brazil.
Sad isnt it ; I mean , he clearly never even considered that some poor souls can get so depressed that they cant even remember to put socks on , never mind pull them up.
I don't listen to Talk Sports. It's pish and it's full of argumentative ****ers. Saying that I'm on here everyday
Why do people say "pull your socks up" anyway? As though having fully pulled-up socks somehow means that you're coping well. I'm sure there are plenty of happy, successful people with their socks at half mast. Who thinks up these daft sayings, and more to the point, who copies them and turns them into cliche? Knobheads, that's who.
