Thats a myth when was the last time West Ham were renowned for footballing philosophies Hes just a fat ****er trying to hide the fact that he has failed in his job to get automatic promotion, it was the same in his interview on the football league show trying to justify the season as a sucess only just missing out on the automatic spots
Thats what their fans want Marv but you're right not necessarily had it in recent times have they, Allardyce is on thin ice
I understand its what their fans want its the same as most fans at most clubs but it doesnt mean its the West Ham way
Agreed. We still opened them up at times, but the players it fell to messed it up. This is why he's such a ****er. He says things like that after every game!
I don't know, would probably disagree as when growing up all you heard was the West Ham way of playing football on the deck, could be I'm brainwashed by that but one thing is Allardyce is not renowned for good football
Be interesting to see if they do Chazz, got a feeling they've blown up a bit but who knows, if you fancy them it's odd-against still I think which is fairly decent given they have quality players like Nolan and Cole. Am not betting but think Blackpool can do it again, based on not much other than a gut feeling
I don't like Allardyce & he's not a typical West Ham boss but they need a boss who will get them there then sack him just like QPR did with Colin. OK nobody likes him either but these two know how to get results "championship" style. WHU have had a good season, only Reading surprised them. They did "batter" us at times, but we showed character and the final scoreline wasn't a battering. They have quality all over the pitch and "should" win the play-offs.. even though I have a feeling Birmingham will "do" them via a Zigic header. The West Ham way isn't a myth, they have produced excellent players over the years and I'd say most of the time play attractive football (this season less so perhaps), but take off the rose-tinted glasses as a City fan, some of their movement was superb against us first half & Cole was too much for our defence to handle, he won most aerial balls and caused all sorts of problems. But there again he is PL class.
Cole really had us in the match Tigercity, something to think about next season, maybe Cooper and Chester isn't ideal as a partnership, to be fair to Cooper I think he's done really well given his chance.
When? Oh you mean this season? Wham fans better hope so, cos if they don't they will be having a fire sale in the summer + won't be as strong next season. They will also sack A lard arse + take Di Canio back as manager
