Think we'll have a tougher game against Fulham. Recently we never seem to do that well against them (that I've seen, anyway). Also, there will be the weekend's FA cup clash with Chelsea for us to look forward to. I'm a touch worried about a lapse in performance when playing Fulham. I'm sure KK will stress the importance of finishing above Everton, though. That should be motivation enough.
Buzzin' after that game! Great result , hopefully we'll beat Fulham and then smash Chelsea! Defo watching MOTD tonight. YNWA!
Missed chances again and I was gettin nervous for a bit before Suarez third, but what a game for Suarez, what we bought him for, goals, creativity ( megged the boys something stupid today), and that energy. Hopefully we see more of it and it carries on for next year. Downing was poor again, not sure what he does out there other than cut in and make play predictable. Gerrard and Shelvey were good and Johnson I thought was excellent on the right again, very sure this game.
Don't remind me, oh that damn luck! BS I say, too wasteful, can't put teams away. We did today but it took something special from Suarez. This is the Suarez we need to see more of, ready to battle and show his worth, creativity, and end product. I threw the couch pillow at the TV when he chipped it instead of slotting it after megging the boy
Haha - I done a Gerrard just before he scored his third. If you don't know what I mean - whatch the replay and watch Gerrard
Well I cannot say you did not deserve the win, you did and perhaps a 3 goal difference might have been a little harsh but full credit to Suarez for each of the goals. Although they originated from defensive lapses, there was still plenty of work to be done to finish and he he did in some style. We can only dream of having such quality in our team at present. Gerrard's return for this game was huge for you, he was really good today (as was Shelvey). His quick thinking was too much for us to deal with on the day. I am not looking to take anything away from you guys, you did deserve the win but I think we have the masters of our own undoing in recent weeks with the constant change of team selections and formations by Paul Lambert. We have not played the same team in two consecutive weeks this season (possibly not for the last 3 seasons! under his leadership) and I am beginning to believe that this is having a seriously negative impact on some of our players. Hopefully there will be some big changes for us in the summer because it must be clear to everyone that we need that to happen to have a chance of surviving for another season in the top flight. Anyway, good luck for the remainder of the season and especially the FA Cup final
Probably the best hatrick I've seen all season. All three of the goals were fantastic, shame it wasn't a 'perfect' hatrick as it would have been fully deserved. He probably could have scored 5 if he didn't try to be so spectacular. Very very impressive though
Those ****ing slag-arsed budgies can go **** themselves. They are now slagging us off big time over Hillsborough and Suarez. Pity they can't be ****ing relegated this season and we'll have to wait for the next one! Small club, small fans
Lot of bitterness on their board today, not sure why, they were well beaten and their fans are usually ok.
A bit of an over reaction isn't it? Some of our fans might be doing it but certainly not all and certainly not worth getting worked up over. This is why fans cannot stand/sit together in grounds (in most cases), petty squabbles over things you or I have no control over or just want to argue for the sake of it because of some kind of bizarre tribal mentality.
Didn't expect to be exchanging pot shots this morning. Oh well. They can take their place in the other trench if they want.
I did as well especially as he's in my fantasy team this week I went...."what are you playing at....ooooh....oooooooooh......gooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllll"
He'd have had a job getting a "perfect" hat trick by scoring that third goal with his head to be fair
