Look forward to visiting the Boleyn next year, strongest team in the Play-Offs and solid defensively. Always a good away day.
Notably against Leicester. Kept it grounded for alot of the game and played some intricate stuff. But, especially in the first half of the season, you have mainly been hoofing it.
I agree, but the team have showed lately that if we play 442 at home and pass it, we end up with results like the 6-0 v Brighton.
Yeah you guys have played some nicer stuff recently. I saw your goals today and the build-up play was quite nice. Good luck.
Don't be an ass the bloke has come on to congratulate us have some respect they come 3rd by a clear mile and deserve promotion would you be saying the same thing if we finished 3rd? Don't think so. Thanks Cockney.
Echoed. Cheers and I hope the Hammers go up simply because you deserve to. So many points above the rest of the pretenders!
Hammers, can you make sure you stuff the our near neighbours. Can't have Cardiff in the PL. Good luck, the playoff's are hell of a ride.
Cheers folks, as you say, if anyone deserves to go up from the play offs, its us, but it don't work like that unfortunately. If we play our best, we'll succeed, if not, we have another fun time of it here next season.
thanks for the kind words, and of all the teams in the play offs West ham deserve to get up to the premiership. I have always had a soft spot for the hammers, and any team that had Sir Bobby Moore gets my vote!
Can't have the Lecicester game count. They stood off all night and played like a training game. I have a lot of West Ham mates, and I hav esaid to them the same... I think a lesson for the hammers would be to stay down and get a team playing the way that you can. Despite a few recent games maybe knocking it about, each time I've seen them it's been ugly. Don't want to have a go at Cockney Eyetie after him coming on here and graciosuly offering congrats, but I feel that Big Sam has got so much wrong this season. I'd like to see them ditch him and get promoted next season doing it the right way. Big Sam won't change in the Prem either and I was brought up seeing West Ham as an attractive free flowing team. I doubt Alan Devonshire et al would want to even turn up and watch the current show.
Thanks, good luck for the play-offs though I would not like to pick a winner. I wonder how disappointed the board would be if you miss out this year, surely Allardyce has to be given another year either way.
I totally agree with you, its he alone who cost us an auto place. His absurd tactics at home of playing one big lump up front instead of 442 and attacking on the deck like we did v Brighton, you'd have thought the penny dropped. In days gone by, win lose or draw, we'd be happy if we enjoyed the style of play and the effort of the likes of Bonds, Dicks and Ray Stewart.
For you and all my Hammers mates, I genuinely hope it changes next season. I really do. But Big Sam is not for the Boleyn Ground.
