Bump Where are all the Beagles now? On the holmsdale site they are crapping it Comment by Eaglesfan1 Possibility of finishing below Millwall ________________________________________ We are only 1 place and 5 points above Millwall with 3 games to go and with them having the easier run in on paper (Ipswich and Coventry away are two very winnable games, Blackpool less so) there appears to be a real possibility that they might finish above us after they've been battling relegation all year and we have been comfertably in mid table, knocking on the door of the top half. Now I thought it had been a very good season but I would see it as a much less successful one if we finished below that scum. I've accepted for a long time now that we were going to finish below Brighton but please, please, please not Millwall! __________________ And the first away team to win a league game at the Amex is................... CRYSTAL PALACE!!!! FFS MURRAY!
Like I've said a few times TC I'd ****ing love to finish above those nigel ****s and we can do it if Kenny goes for it but will he now were safe so will the players have the right mentality now the pressure is off? Hopefully there are a few still playing for contracts so that will alleviate any danger of switching off? We'll see tonight if we do a job on Coventry tonight continuing our superb away form or not and if we do then I'd be confident for the remaining games that the players aren't on the mentally on the beach already. We have the easier run in than crippled as they're get nothing this week away at Pompey and Reading so they're there for the taking.
Was looking for this thread too - not so gobby now are they? Great finish to the season and being above Palace a nice touch. Just need the Hamsters to foul up and not all a bad season's end though quite tumultuous to say the least!
Where is dancing boy bright? Thought he would be on here to congratulate us on still being the best team in south London.
