Good news for the Leeds fan. Steve Howard wont be getting the winner tommorow as he has just left the club. His contract was due to end in the summer but he has left today. Good servant to the club but he was no longer up championship football


But dont worry Leeds fan David Nugent will smash the winner in instead

 

Seems a bit random going with only one game to go but hey ho, cheers for the service SH

Hopefully they didn't force him out, but have just made it easier for him to find a new club. Northampton Town need big Steve!

Pretty gutted to be honest, I know he's past it but he is still a legend.

I admit to feeling a little sad about this. But when your favourite horse is passed it, you have to put it down...

 

Most likely ended now because there was an extra year at the end of the season clause in his contract or something.

He has put everything in every time he has played for us, hope he gets a good deal for 2-3 years at a lower league club.
When the chips were down he never hid and you could count on him.

Steve Howard,s commitment to the shirt has always been top notch Unfortunately he was yet another player given contract extension by Sven,,as have gally wellens and king

 

Was there any Super Steve chants on Sat, didn't hear the game.

 

I rhink we should of let him run his contract down though. After how he has served the club he at least deserved that. Same with Matt Oakley
