Nah, it wasn't for the game. I went down on business and got myself lost at night in your Fine City. I have recounted the experience in detail on the earlier thread so I won't go over it all again. Suffice it to say I turned the wrong way out of a local watering hole, asked three different people (including a bus driver) for directions and got three different sets of directions. One of them was almost right. Norwich, nice city, nice people- with a lousy grasp of geography.
Gone for a Norwich win on the poll, mainly because every time I go for us, we lose! So I'll have to back it up and say 2-1 Norwich.
I no longer have any ****ing idea how we will do so I say 10-9 Liverpool with the winner being scored by Grant Holt.
Zak is doing fine but is prone to injury unfortunately and is currently out with a calf problem I think, he is playing for the USA. Really looking forward to the game today hopefully we can spring a surprise or two, or three
I wouldn't be surprised if we just lost or drew today, but I'm going for an away win. 1-3 to us. Grant Holt to score against us. I'm hoping Carroll gets one or two, and a Gerrard goal would be great, too. I'd usually go for a draw, but feel the team will mount a response today for some reason.
Here's hoping Holt can put in yet another performance to further justify this Pinched from Dave's post on the Norwich board. Cheers Dave.
I just want to wish norwich the very best as having sides like them i nthe prem is a breath of fresh air. genuine willingness to play football the right way, a lack of fear of big sides and best of all passionate genuine supporters. Sides like wigan and blackburn take note.... best fans awards should go to stoke, norwich, swansea and its no co-incidence these are the sides coming up and staying up.
Oh I just noticed we're being commentated on TalkSport. Not Good. Every time we've played with them commentating we've dropped points so far I think, and that includes the reverse fixture against Norwich. I think they might of commentated on our match away to Aston Villa, so perhaps 1 win.
mito's got in in for Wiggy for some reason. I think they're ok, they play some decent football. I do agree with him that's good to see Norwich doing well though. Hoping for a good game today. Everyone says we've nothing to play for, but I think we should play every game like we mean it. Developing the attitude for the "meaningless" games that we have for the big ones can only ever be a good thing imo. Plus, we're not really going to let the neighbours end up above us, surely?
I think people forget that Norwich can go equal on points with us if they win. Despite how well they have done, that would be embarrassing, no offence to them.

non taken really, just messing and yes this season has been beyond expectation and would be the icing on the top to match the likes of Liverpool in our first season back. I'm hoping for a cracking game with the obvious result in City's favour but am slightly fearful you may start today to find the net rather than the woodwork
