    Just seen it on the news.
    Sounds callous but I dont hold out much hope for finding the young lad.

    Agree with LE I dont hold out much hope,like all rivers the Wear has some underlying currents

    A lad from near my area (didn't kow him personally) fell in the tyne on a night out and the scuber divers found him 2 days after. Sadly there isnt much chance for survival if they haven't found him yet.

    Thoughts go to the family.

    What the hell goes through peoples minds when they fall in a river? so silly and feel forr his family. Same goes for people that get run over for goodness sake . How can you just make a decision like that without thinking?
