Now let's examine the evidence - or lack of it - poor old Rio didn't have a pot to piss in ............ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS! .... now, just for the sake of a juicy conspiracy theory, let's consider what might have happened if, instead of a nine month ban for not being tested, a test had taken place and some sort of substance had been found ... Mon Dew (as Del Boy might say) obviously it would only be because it had been tampered with / contaminated in some way - we all know that - ... but nevertheless the authorities would probably have been forced, on the evidence, to ban poor Rio from all competitions for many many years ... at least justice was done eh? ...
Nothing doing on your board,i take it ? Oh well, you can stay i suppose. While your here,be sure to try the fish & chips, theyr'e lovely
I appreciate that, but Anton was arrested and tried for ABH and affray (granted he was found guilty on grounds that he "may" have been acting in self defence); he also had a warrant issued for his arrest for failing to attend court for driving offences (failing to attend places may run in the family); he asked the permission of his employers to go to visit some ill relative when in fact he went to the USA with his mates for his birthday; and only last week he was interviewed by the rozzers under caution following a fight outside a Manchester pub/club when a man was seriously injured. But apart from all of that, he still comes across as a tool to me.
... yes but surely you see that there are different rules for footballers .. (and yes that is meant to be ironic - before I get swamped)
Eugh. Everyone says this about England and it's bollocks. The national team is in no 'state' at all. We go to tournaments, we get as far as we probably should based on how we compare to the other teams, we get beat by a good side and another good side win the tournament. What is the problem? Agreed.
I'm glad they've decided not to do it, stops a whole media circus starting should we get another Suarez/Evra scenario.
Nice conspiracy theory, but the longest drugs related ban ever handed out to an English based player is 9 months. Ferdinand got 8 months, so it hardly saved him from much of a ban.
Following on from the FA scrapping the handshake to avoid any farcical situation/media coverage, the Premier League have asked QPR to give Chelsea a guard of honour as they come onto the pitch for the crucial game in QPR's fight against relegation in order to mark Chelsea's achievement in making it to the Champions League Final. QPR have refused.
Dont like QPR but why the fuk should they?? They are in a relegation battle, they dont want be tipping their hat to neighbours who they hate irrespective of the Ferdinand/Terry sh1te.
You're also forgetting the fact that Chelsea haven't actually done anything to merit a guard of honour yet.
